Damn I miss those towers. I really don't like the new design that they got going up, I think that building looks too ugly and I think they could just redesign the twin towers to be more modernistic and all, but I feel that by not rebuilding, we are actually showing that we are complacent in fear. Rebuilding the towers would show that we are strong and resiliant and that we can get back up when we're knocked down.

The voice of Kong is incredible. I remember if in a documentary many years a go, listen how saids if is an mix by many 'voice' like a lion, tiger, elephant and other... . Kong look around the idiots military; he is the power, he is the nature, he is the right. It is pathetic that 9 years later all that exists at ground zero is a huge hole and some bizarre attempt to erect buildings nobody wants. I lost friends. I lost friends of friends. Nobody can, or ever will, make The World Trade Center disappear.

@Thoughtfulguy68 It does feel like they're trying to act as if the whole thing never happened- building this 'freedom tower' instead of rebuilding the towers taller and stronger (a much stronger statement, and more emotionally impactful by far). Then they have the audacity to start calling it World Trade Center 1. It's an eyesore, one that nobody wanted. The towers rebuilt would have been much more toward the healing process.

(bing or Google it) The organization proposes alternate plans for the rebuilding of the site, including new twin towers, and an ABOVE ground memorial with fountains flowing into the footprints of the original towers and a tranquil park on the site. A place of reflection and beautiful new twin towers. -The idea is widely supported by New Yorkers and most Americans, but the big bad Port Authority will have their way, sadly. Peace

@flowflurry they picked Wtc instead of the empire state building becuase in 1976 it was the tallest building in the world much as the empire state building was in the 1930's.
