The reason this looks reminiscent of God Hand, is because it's by Capcom and most likely the same designer as well. This game actually looks pretty good. I played the demo earlier and enjoyed it. I like the looks of this game, I think it has a lot more potential than God Hand. Not to say God Hand had no potential, it was just poor execution. This though, Asuras Wrath, touches on a story that is far better orchestrated in my opinion. Hope it takes off and does as well as say Devil May Cry.
