  • i knw this guy personally.

feels badass to know a guy like that personally

  • beautiful.

  • Hakeem is a top 3 center all-time period, he's one in my book then kareem, 3rd is toss up depends what u like

  • another thing at 1:47 that's just crazy. A 7 foot center that's all the way out behind the 3 point line and just drives in n jams it in. That's just unheard of.

  • will there ever be another center like hakeem?

  • Nope...

  • probably the best basketball mix I have ever seen ;) Music fits awesome here

  • best center

  • 1. Russell (anybody else win 11 championships?)

    2. Wilt

    3. Hakeem

    4. Shaq

    5. Moses Malone

    6. Kareem

    7. Nate Thurmond

  • it was 12

  • no, wilt is not better than hakeem.

  • I don't know.. Russell and Wilt had hall of famers on their team.

  • @lakers1436 yep, and Hakeem had role players untill Clyde joined.

  • Number 1- Hakeem The Dream !!!!!!!!!!

    2- Pat Ewing

    3- David Robinson

  • You need to put jazz to this mix cause its just good basketball son....

  • 1.olajuwon

    2.wilt

    3.kareem

    4.shaq

    5.russell

  • please say me the name of the 2 songs

    5*

  • He's a beast on defense.

  • he was the very best center in NBA history, he dominated shaq, kareem, david robinson, and patrick ewing in his prime years, hakeem is the very best of the best centers in history

  • 1. kareem

    2. hakeem close 2

    3. wilt

    4. shaq

    5. russell/moses

  • hakeem got 10 points 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, and 5 blocks in 3 games in his career

  • easily my fav player ever!

  • Great video for the greatest center of all time.

  • Eh, whatever. Olajuwon was brutally dominant over all other big men furing the prime of his career including three members of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players in History.

  • Exactly, great video. Olajuwon was in my mind no doubt possibly the greatest center, because of his versatility and lack of weaknesses, and he dominated all other big men in THE era of big men,

  • Hakeem redefined the role of a center, he took it to a whole new level.Shaq once admitted that if he was to be compared to any center in the league, he'd love to be compared to Hakeem because as he said, Hakeem was simply the best. I agree.

  • That is why Shaq changes his number from 32 to number 34 because he admire Hakeem.

Besides the fact that No. 32 is retired already by Magic Johnson

  • I'd say Shaq is the second greatest center of all time. Hakeem first. Wilt hardly had any challenges. If you watch footage, all you see is him shooting over weak sucky white guys, no offense. Hakeem played during the era of all great centers and put all of them to shame. Abdul-Jabbar was great as well, but I'd take Hakeem over him any day.

  • Hakeem is the greatest Center of all Time !!!

Hakeem Olajuwon and Charley Barley was the greatest Duo was the Rockets ever had!!!

+ Scott Pippen = The greatest trio!!! ;-)

Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon still RULES!!!

  • i have to disagree cause the rockets had barkely harkeem, pippen and clyde but clyde and hakeem worked well together while barkley and pippen didnt

  • The rockets didn't have Clyde in 93-94 season and they still won. Clyde retired after 96. Barkly joined rockets in 97, and Pippen in 99. All three of them have passed their prime. I don't think Pippen was ever that good of a player, just look at his career stats, and his gameplay in the Houston and Portland.

  • Really? Stats are not everything, but he was on the All-Defensive Team from 1991-2000 and a First Team member seven times. Career averages of 16 pts, 6.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2 steals a game, and this is with his 5 years not in Chicago which he should've never left. If the points are what makes you think he sucks, just look who was his teamate during the best years of his career: JORDAN, which means MJ was obviously the 1st option for points.

  • clyde retired after 98

  • Baby said BLOOOOOOOD! I WILL KICK MY ASSK

  • What happened to players like Hakeem? I guess the basketball gods don't make guys like him anymore.

  • 1. Wilt

    2. Kareem

    3. Hakeem

    4. Shaq

    5. Russell

  • hahaha you just basing that on stats, not saying Wilt or Kareem isn't good, but no one can truly compare players of different eras. I personally think the defense of Wilt's time can't handle him and were just garbage, no single player can grab 50 boards like he did nowadays!!

  • when did he?

Can someone answer dis wuestion 4 me plz? Which Clutch city team is better

    93-94, or 94-95?

  • Hakeem got a quadruple-double

Part of it was 10 blocks AND 14 assists

  • Hakeen was the best there is the best there was and the best there will be.

  • he was the best centre not the best there is MJ is the best but only for that era there will be a greater player then MJ

  • d rob got a quad double

  • hakeem vs shaq in 1v1 hakeem wins no re pls >>

  • dunk @ 2:11, NICE!!

  • agree with u man, nobody olse center (except maybe chamberlain) could win in 1v1

shaq? see the nba final '95, although was only a child at that time has been destroyed by the dream

  • The Dream is so smooth... Being a Suns fan it'd be easy to sit here and say how much Hakeem Traveled when he posted up and went across the lane..but i have too much respect for his game, Hakeem is the only player I miss besides Jordan, the way he dominated his opposition is incredible.. Robinson, Ewing, O'Neal and even Jabbar, in my mind he is the greatest center i've ever seen play and probably in the top 5 all around players ever

  • fantastic songs anyway

  • hakeem was an all-round player the speedest center in tha nba history, i think between top 3 centers of all time beside chamberlain and russel, rest suck!

  • The dream IS the best center of all time. I don't care if people think its Shaq. Hakeem was more mobile, a better shooter, better free throw shooter, better defender(check steals and blocks) and was finesse for a big man. This was when there were a lot of great big men in the NBA and he out shined them all. There were no dominate centers in the NBA during Shaq's prime years.

  • Hakeem was definitely a master of being a center. I think he's definitely the best of all time. Looking at this old footage has made me rethink a lot about the current NBA game and how much it was more enjoyable back then. Now its a one on one nightmare drivin by fevered ego maniacs with horrible me first attitudes.

  • Goddamn did he ever dunk on Kevin Willis at around the 2:10 mark. Put a radar gun on that baby! Whoo! That's a 98 MPH heater all up in Kevin Willis's face.

  • he faced at least 70% of the best centers in NBA history in his career and many of them in their primes: Kareem(late career), Shaq during his prime, David Robinson during his prime, Patrick Ewing in college and prime NBA career, Laimbeer, Kersey, and handled every one of them and shut down D-Rob his whole career! Best Center Ever no doubt about it!

  • True

  • Hakeem Olajuwon is the best center in NBA history and lets review why: 25,000 points, alltime blocks leader, alltime steals leader as a center, a center that shot 80% free throws...

  • amazing video

  • i love hakeem not bekuz im nigerian too bkuz he sick

  • Jordan did played in the 95 finals, and he lost to the Magics. The Rockets owned Shaq, Tim Hardaway, Grant Hill(at his peak, he was very good back then), and the rest of the Magics.

  • I'm about as big a Rockets fan there is, and Hakeem is my favorite player ever. For these reasons I have to call you out for looking like a dumbass who never actually watched the shit that you're talking about. Tim Hardaway never played for the Magic (yeah, it's Magic, not Magics). The name you're looking for is Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway. Also, Grant Hill wasn't on the magic until 6 years later. I don't believe you have a clue what you're talking about here buddy.

  • hakeem is best center of his time.... he shut david robinson down in his MVP year....patrick ewing needed people to doulbe team him to jus slow him down...and shaq neva had chance

  • what's the name of the song?

  • whoa, best video Ive seen so far

  • i would say hakeem has the moves most center "DREAM" about. if sampson, hakeem's teammate in the 80's, wasnt with him that time. he would be a solid 1 dimensional that most centers play. he cant be the best for me because there are other better centers than hakeem namely bill, kareem and others

  • One dimensional? He could rebound, block shots, put the ball on the floor and had more moves in his repertoire than any post player to ever play this game.

Where was Ralph Sampson when Hakeem dominated in the 90s on both sides of the floor?

    He's the Greatest of All-Time.

  • ugghhh you musta been sick when you posted. What center can move like him around the basket, that can block shots, change shots, rebound, score points, dish out assists like him? The epic battles between robinson, shaq, and ewing? What he did in the pros was a natural progression of what he was already doing for PHI SLAMA JAMMA!! The twin towers was nice but c'mon man. I think you need to watch this video some more. HaKeem is the greatest center of all time!

  • Hakeem never received much recognition for his play because Jordon and Barkely took much of the attention in the media. But he was the best center all around player.

Top 5 centers of all time

    1. Kareen Abdul jabbar

    2. Hakeem Olajuwon

    3. Wilt Chamerlain

    4. Shaquille ONeal

    5. Bill Russell

  • shaqs was da most dominant center in the history of basketball if you ask me. I'll put it as

    1.Shaquille O'neal

    2.Wilt Chamberlin

    3.kareem Abdul-Jabbar

    4.Hakeem Oljuwon

    5.Bill Russel

  • Hakeem is the best center. I think that the stats prove that. Did you know that Olijuwon went 5x5 in games (being over 5 points rebs assists steals and blocks) 9 times throughout his career, I was a shaq fan too until I got a little older and realised how much better he was on the defensive end. his footwork was like a guard too. Looking at the video you can argue that he was the logical choice in the 1984 draft too.

  • I don't know anything about basketball. I guess u never seen the 95 finals. Shaq was more bigger and more atheletic in 95 than was in 2000, but Hakeem just out played him.

  • yea true true..

  • shaq once versed hakeem olajuwon oce hakeem crused him

  • If Hakeem was in NBA in these days man he would skool all centers and PF.... Hakeem would be the best players rockets can ever have. Hakeem shouulddd teach his moves to Yaoooo!!! Peace.

Top 5 Centres of all time

    1. Wilt Chamberlain

    2. Hakeem Olajuwon

    3. Kareem Abdul Jabbar

    4 Shaquille O Neal

    5. David Robinson

  • woah, the Dream. In comparison, today's centers are so one dimensioned (at least for the Americans). I missed watching Hakeem matching up against Ewing and Robinson~

  • Best centers in my mind -

    1) Wilt Chamberlain

    2) Bill Russell

    3) Hakeem Olajuwon

    4) David Robinson

    5) Shaquille Oneil

  • has 2 be the greatest center of all time, beat the Warrior for a championship, ate the Admiral for breakfast on his way to another, n skooled Shaq to win it all. And lets no forget that Zo himslef got spanked by the Dream.

  • Case in point, Ryan Hollins, the Bobcats' second round pick this year, high jumped 7 feet in high school. Hakeem is also the most fluid center ever to play the game.

  • Wilt's best competition was a guy who was 6'9, 215 pounds (which is NOT the same as Alonzo mourning, it's more like a less athletic, weaker and lighter magic johnson) while hakeem was more talented, hella more clutch, WAY more skilled, quicker, longer, and more intense. The only argument i ever see for wilt is stats, and it's well known that wilt was a stat padder. Did wilt have a 6'6 vertical? NO. High jumping is about moving your whole body over a bar, not just how high you can jump.

  • yes and wilt was the only person to ever reject kareems sky hook so ??

  • sorry i meant that he was 6-10 and not 6-6

  • best 5 centers ever:

    1. wilt chamberlain

    2. bill rusell

    3. abdul-jabbar

    4. olajuwon

    5. shaq

and for the record russell was 6-10, not 6-10, he would be like alonzo murning but much better at rebounding and blocks.

  • Best 5 centers:

    1. Wilt Chamberlain (MDE (most dominant ever))

    2. Kareem Abdul Jabbar (six MVP titles)

    3. Hakeem Olajuwon (allround center with great footwork)

    4. Shaquille Oneal (dominator)

    5. David Robinson (perfect body)

Bill Russell is not on my list, because he was only 6´6 and he would be a power or small forward today.

greatest basketball mix ever, I watch this vid everyday.

    5/5

  • He was 6`9 he would be a power foward and I think he did play foward for a time when he and dave cowens played together

  • bill russel wasnt 6´6. he was 2´06 so 6´9

  • hakeem is real good and all...great in fact...but, lemme remind y'all of a little fact...the dreams only championships came when michael was trying to play another sport...we all know, if mj was still playing basketball, he'd have had 8 championships...peace

  • you cant say that,

and in 95 Orlando beat the Bulls while the Rockets SWEPT Orlando.

Check your facts, The Bulls in 94-95 lost only 2 more than the championship team 2 years prior.

  • in '95, mj just came back, out of shape, and outplayed by penny hardaway...i don't really understand your second comment...but, my point is, that while i'm a big dream fan, when mj was winning championsips, guys like barkley, malone, payton, kemp, ewing, etc...would always bring out the massive competitiveness in mj...in my subjective and humble opinion, i believe if mj met the clutch city rockets, mj's bulls would've came out on top...

  • he still got hhe still had madd otha comp in the league...payton,malone and stockon,ewing,robinson,shaq,pippen,barkley..all of them will be going to the hall of fame....its not like he didnt have ne one to beat

  • i don't think payton and robinson is.

  • point is, it's not like mj didn't have anyone to beat when he was in his long prime...i'm just saying that I THINK HE WOULD HAVE BEAT OLAJUWON's "CLUTCH CITY" ROCKETS...

  • Top 5 Centres of all time

    1. Wilt Chamberlain

    2. Hakeem Olajuwon

    3. Kareem Abdul Jabbar

    4. Patrick Ewing

    5. Shaquille O Neal

  • Bill Russell should be in that list

  • WHATS THE FIRST SONG NAME!!!!

  • A Dream by Jay-Z

On another note, its impossible to compare Wilt and Hakeem. Hell, in today's game Hakeem would probably be playing power forward because he's so agile. Back in Wilt's day, scoring was higher overall so naturally he'll score more and his competition was nowhere close to Hakeem's. Also, Hakeem played in the uglyball era in which scoring hit all time lows overall. Plus, Wilt even admitted, he wasn't clutch. He lost to a hobbling Willis Reid and always lost to Russell

  • jay z and biggie - it was all a dream.

  • it was all a dream by jay z

  • Wilt's definitely a better rebounder, but FG%s were a lot lower back then cause teams thought it was better to outscore your opp rather than stop them from scoring. Wilt wasn't exactly going up against other guys his size, too; Hakeem was outrebounding Ewing, Robinson (my pick for most athletic), and Shaq. Wilt was better, but Hakeem was great too.

Plus Wilt won 4 MVPs, one less than his rival Mr Russell

  • and dont givbe me this Bs about the different eras, hakeem was never an excepcional rebounder like wilt is.

  • some BS i read here blew me away, hakeem better than wilt ??!? wilt not only has 2 rings just like hakeem but he also won MVP 5 times, scoring title 7 times and was the best rebounder of all-time, he owns as many rings as hakeem and he also owns the scoring records. hakeem being the leader in blocks is irrelevant, everyone knows that russell and wilt would be the leaders if blocks counted back then.

  • Everyone knows that hakeem would have been the leader in those stats too if he played at that time.

  • no, i dont. different eras arent the only factor that made wilt a good rebounder, rebounding is about leap, wingspan, and the probability of knowing where the ball was gonna go after a miss, chamberlain would average 20 rebounds in any era, even rodman averaged 18 rebounds in his prime in the 90s and wilt is the best rebounder of all time.

  • I dunno what song this is but it sounds like Jay-Z and if it is, this is his crappiest song ever.

  • What's the song name?

  • hakeem was the third best player after Kareem and wilt.

  • Hakeem was best center of ALL TIME.

    Wilt who?

  • Wilt Chamberlain

  • he is athletic because look at the plays he makes. He hustles, he doesnt quit, he's consistent, even at the tail end of his career he still had more than 17 points a game. Wilt didnt have a all around game like Dream did

  • respekt

  • YE,greatest centre

  • you see how many times he owned Patrick Ewing

  • Hakeem won MVP, Defensive Player Of The Year, and Finals MVP in the same year, and was the only player to do it. He's the most talented center but most athletic? I'd have to give that one to Wilt.

  • Great video. Hakeem is at least top 5 centers at least. And was a better center then shaq. Hakeem could do it all. No weakness in the dreams game unlike Shaq.

  • The opening of this clip is astonishing. Super cool, better than many of the MJ tributes out there.

  • Olajuwon is THE MOST ATHLETIC CENTER. HANDS DOWN!!

His athleticism and his moves are second to NONE!

  • I'd second that.

  • Hakeem was the greatest ever. He was simply amazing, those vids of him shaking Robinson out of his shoes are amazing.

  • Hakeem is probably the best center to play the game, he owned every big man he met including shaq

  • hakeem olajuwon is the big dream.

Hope Yao be the same guy.

  • exciting is for bitches, if a combination of substance and flash can be then so be it, but effectiveness shits on flashy game any day.

  • Yo, first song is called "A Dream" by Jay Z and second is "Never let me down" by Kanye West & Jay Z + J.Ivy.

  • yo ur so dumb u fuking bullshit whiteass softy probably u dont no how good hakeem is he freeking won mvp so ur saying mvp is not effectiveness u dum ass remember this name ull see me in the nba soon mohamed mohamed from harlem from the ghetto kigga best baller on the block 20 ppg in middle school everyday 10 hours ball and dat all i have no tv or anything no computer or anything use the library wish my family had money to go to proper ass schools rememebr my name bitches mohamed harlem

  • Your're a kid mohamed. like honestly u dont brag bout not having anything like a proper house or a tv. its next to impossible to make the league and u know that u studio gangster.u probably some fat kid who talks

    shit

  • exciting is for amateurs....i like hakeem's game because it was effective and no one could stop him, not because it was "exciting", players like carter, mcgrady and francis are exciting but they are born and raised losers, effectiveness is what matters in the NBA

  • I never said Hakeems game wasn't effective, but a mixture of Flash/Substance can go hand-in-hand. Unfortunately, there is no finesse in Shaqs game THATS WHY HIS GAME IS M*THAF*KIN GAY! Maybe effective but not exciting thats why I hate Shaq! Do you get my point now mate!?! And No, "exciting" isn't just for amateurs.

  • The good thing I can say about Shaq & Hakeem is that they are team players and both have stayed true to their teams, unlike stars like T-Mac, Carter. But it dosen't mean that they don't deserve a ring too!

  • u call shaq, stayin true 2 his team? hahaha, dont u remember shaq in a heats uniform? dont u remember how he got there?

  • may i ask whats the name of the song ?? i just love it and i remember the greatest center of all times when i hear it :), hakeem was the best by far, the best combination of defense /offense and had no waeknesses in his game.

  • The First song was "A Dream" by Jay-Z & Biggie. I don't know the 2nd second song though!

  • Im not a big Shaq fan either but it is clear that Shaq is the most dominant Center to EVEEEERR play the game of Basketball. Period.

  • No.

  • best center ever, also the fastest center ever

  • hakeem is the greatest.

  • Stats: Hakeem V Shaq

    Hakeem: Pts 26946 Blks 3830 Ast 3058 Rbs 13748 Stl 2162

    Shaq: Pts 24764 Blks 2377 Ast 2622 Rbs 11082 Stl 619

So have I enlightened everyone on the stats between the 2 centers? Thats why they call him "The Dream" and um... Shaq is gay... cough cough!

  • I love The Dream! He brought a style of basketball not seen for a center. When you think of centers now a days they dont have style like say a guard or forward eg: Lebron. Hakeem brought style to the center position with the shakes, fakes, shooting, dunking, blocks, you name it! He might not have won as many rings as Shaq but Hakeem has game and a style of game that would sh*t on Shaq anyday! I can teach a monkey to dunk like Shaq for god sake. Shaqs game is boring and gay!

  • shaq's games is gay ?? i could say that the game of soft bitches like robinson or ewing who got schooled their wholes lifes is gay but shaq's game is effective, wether you like it or not.

  • Effective but not exciting, thats what I mean! Like I said I could teach a monkey how to play like Shaq because Its the same damn thing every time! Thats why Shaq's Game is GAY!!! Hakeems game was just as exciting as a Guard like MJ or a Forward like Pippen & LBJ!

  • sick with the blocks!

  • 33, 34, 35, and 31 in the 4 Finals games against a young, in shape Shaq. nuff said. Spurs fan btw just giving props. Best I ever saw.

  • If wasn't for the god #23, we would've had a hell of an NBA. think about it what if the Bulls didn't win any titles, Portland vs NY,LA vs Detroit again in 91,Phoenix vs NY just something to think about.

  • Hakeem was the best! He even spanked Shaq in 95

  • Hakeem went through the greatest era of big men ever unscathed. Three of the 50 greatest players at Center all in their prime and he dominated them all? Even this Spurs fan gives you his props.

  • So true, and this is ofter overlooked. Dream got the better of two HOF centers for both of his titles (Ewing & Shaq), and he destroyed another one (Robinson) on the way to his second. Again, which title team does Shaq play on that Dream doesn't win with?

  • he was a more talented player than shaq, but he wasnt "greater".

greatness is defined by acomplishments, not the ability to shoot, rebound, or block shots.

shaq has taken 3 teams to the finals and has made a mark in 2 of them, he has 4 rings.

is not shaq's fault that there werent great centers left...and even if shaq didnt beat great good guys in the finals, he did so in the conference finals against robinson and duncan.

  • your a idiot, i bet your the type of person that thought ryan leaf was the next marino too huh? dumbfuck!

  • that comment i put goes for that dumbass 991986

  • Championships are a team accomplishment. Shaq played with Penny, Kobe and Wade. Hakeem best guard was an over the hill Drexler. Please pick a championship team that Shaq played on, put Hakeem on it, and tell me how the outcome would be worse.

  • Drexler along wit Hakeem led the Rockets through out the entire Playoff that year.

  • Could Shaq have carried the 94 and 95 Rockets to titles, where he didn't have a guard to close off games for him? Hakeem has 1 MVP like Shaq, has led the league in boards and blocks (Shaq has never doen this) and has won defensive player of the yr awards (something else Shaq has never done).

  • We can argue that Olajuwon played in a league full of midgets, but then we can't because his massive wingspan makes them look like midgets... you see those destructive arms go up and hit nothing but ball and you can't help but think this was easily one of the greatest centers ever to play the game.

  • Not even a 00-01 Shaq could do what The Dream could do

  • Damn right he was greater, better, more talented or whatever you want to call it. first of all who beat who in 95? Yeah I agree you do need to win Titles and thats why he won back-to-back. I bet you think players like Robert Horry and John Salley are better than him too huh. When Shaq is the All time shot block leader and still getting 12 blocks in a single game in his 18th season then you can talk. Plus those Laker teams were pretty deep off the bench something The Rockets weren't.

  • shaq once got 20+ points 20+ rebounds and 15 blocks in a game once hakeem has never

  • I could easily come back and say that Shaq has never gotten nor any other player EVER gotten atleast 5 points, 5 rebounds, 5 blocks, 5 steals, and 5 assists ALL in ONE game. :-/

  • lol jamaal tinsley and andrei kirilenko have got atleast 5 points, 5 rebounds,5 steals,5 blocks and 5 assists ALL in ONE game

  • Hakeem is God

  • If they had a radar gun on the dunk he throws down at 2:10 of this video it would be going at a velocity of like 99mph. Check it out. Ooohh Kevin Willis get somma dat!!!

  • It's a shame how forgotten he is compared to MJ, Bird, Magic, and Shaq. He was so much better than Shaq. He went through 3 of the 50 greatest players Centers in their prime. Shaq went Divac, Jason Collins, and Rik Smits. Scored 35, 33, 34, and 31 against Shaq in the Finals.

  • I agree Hakeem is 10 times better Than Shaq where is Shaq now in the Injured List.

  • where is hakeem now?

  • Hakeem was so good that Houston passed on MJ to take him, and rarely do I hear anyone call that a mistake.

  • Hakeem "the Dream" Olajuwon the best all around player in nba history ......

  • i read your comment...but i saw those games LIVE and hakeem was doubled/tripled as much as robinson, the difference is that he was much better, both offensivly and deffensivly.

  • Jayz is gay by the way His music sucks u cant dance to it

  • ^ First song fits the clip prefectly and is awesome. Second song is good monologue needs to go. Jay-Z is considered on of th greatest rappers of all time. Some people like to start arguments by making absurd comments they know will piss off a lot of people. Any way Hakeem is the point of this video and he was the best center I ever saw by far.

  • Wilt was "good" because he started off playing with abunch of white people that had no rythem so thats y he got so many points

  • kareem and wilt were often compared and there wasnt that big of a difference between each others timelines... i dont feel like going deep into this but you are an idiot lol

  • I'm a Spurs fan by the way no bias. This man was the greatest I ever saw.

  • Greatest Center I ever saw and unlike some 340 lbers we know he did it against top notch competition. I their primes Shaq, Ewing, and DRob all got somma that.

  • Wilt Chamberlain wasn't good because of courts being smaller, Wilt Chamberlain was good because he was 7'0" and he could jump 6'6" into the air, that's why he was so good. He could jump very high, and he could score on anyone even in today's league, 70 pts and 40 rebounds once, 20 pts 20 assists and 20 rebounds once. 100 pts in a game..55 rebounds a game OVER BILL RUSSELL.

  • Hakeem was truly amazing. In my opinion he was as good as the Admiral. The 95 playoff series was a good one, but remember that Robinson was playing Olajuwon straight up while Robinson was being triple teamed by the Rockets

  • "as good as the admiral ????????!!?!?!?" hakeem kicked robinson's ass in 1995 when robinson won MVP. hakeem averaged like 40 ppg and robinson had to sweat a lot to drop 20 points a game, olajwuon my friend was much better than robinson, and shaq is better than robinson as well.

  • 991986 - read all of my comment..

  • do u not read what people say, this guy said that robinson was triple teamed and olajuwan wasnt... fucking moron

  • i have the privelege of meeting all the time because he comes to same mosque as i do, but he lives in Jordan now- middle east

  • hakeem is better than shaq, that much is a fact. hakeem's ability to take the last shot is what made him so great.... shaq was a monster but in the last minutes he needed a player to make the clutch shots (penny, kobe and wade), hakeem, on the other hand only needed hakeem to be great, and also was a good FT shooter. hakeem is one of few players in NBA history with NO weaknesses on his game.

  • and wilt chamberlein played when the courts were lower when they were today thats why he was so good but this guy is way better then shaq...hes like a mixture of shaq...dirk and shawn marion

  • lol wen the courts were lower? that makes no sense

  • Nice!!!

  • one of the greatest of all time

definitely a legend down here in houston

  • i dont know if i can name 4 centers that are better than hakeem but what about chamberlain and bill russel.?

  • Hakeem in his prime was better than Bill Russell. Yeah, I said it! ;-)

  • Shaq>>Olajuwon.. not being a homer.
