Your signal will be a lot stronger with dedicated bluetooth GPS, even if you use a phone with built in GPS receiver.

@deerft E63 does not have a built in GPS system, so you need to connect a bluetooth GPS. You can use Maps without it as well, but it will give your approximate only!
