That is my favorite sound ever (not just in exhaust notes)!

That being said, I find it ironic that the sound belongs to an underpowered engine. The aston in this vid has a 4.3L and every review of that car says that it's lacking grunt. The new 4.7 fixes the problem (kind of- still lacking torque) but the exhaust is a bit less aggressive sounding than the 4.3

how the hell do you don't get the difference. the DB9 is a car, and the Vantage is another car. It's like a Civic and an Accord.

Yes, nd the two are almost the same (judging by the look)...or is the DB9 an 2+2 seeter? - i know the vantage is a 2 seeter

yes you are right. the DB9 is a 2+2 and the vantage a 2 seeter The major differences are the engine( V12 for the DB9, and V8 for the Vanatge), the price, and the size. The lines and the rearlights are praticly the same. but once you know the car well, you can difference them easily

Fail they are completely different cars.. one is smaller and the headlights are different along with the front grill, not to mention the DB9 has a V12 this has a V8, and the badge..

DB9 ---> V12 6.0, V8 Vantage ---> V8 4.3, V12 Vantage ---> V12 6.0. The V12 Vantage is simply a "V8 Vantage" with a modified body and with the AM's original V12, the same engine that in the Vanquish, DB9, and DBS models. It is that simple

they do look alike but it's just because it's the same car style.. this is a smaller less agressive looking db9 lookalike.. from my point of view

My uncle owned one for a year, when he got over 3500RPM the valves fully opened and boom everyone else but you was deaf :D

If you take out one of the fuses (maybe 17, can't quite remember) the 'valves' are always open. Makes for the best sounding car right the way from the get go!

this is one of the best sounding v8's out there i think, but even aston martin have admitted that's its not exactly legit. the exhaust note comes from a valve that was specially made to give it extra grunt. believe me i'm not complaining it's beautiful, but it's not all meat that's making that noise.
