@RocioCso I don't agree about that, you see, Coldplay had that kind of 70's rock in their songs and lyrics, such God Put A Smile On Your Face or Spies, and now their songs are FULL of R&B false drums (from softwares just like Fruitloops and others). Their "old" songs is just them and some instrument here or there, like Viva La Vida with a great orchestra or Talk with synthetizers... Songs totally different but with Coldplay essence.

Coldplay coldplay changed so much that has lost their essence, even in the old songs played today the feeling is pretty different (yellow, God put a smile, politik). Just my opinion, of course.

It's pretty crazy when you compare sounds now. I went from Mylo Xyloto, back to Parachutes, specifically this song..and I think what happened was Coldplay lost their "Mystery" essence. I recall in the "60 Minutes" interview during the Viva era, Chris was giving a tour of the studio, and on the board it said "Keep Mystery." Don't do many interviews...etc. I still love Coldplay. No matter what. All the albums are great, but I, for one, know that Parachutes will remain the "rawest" of their sounds.
