I've yet to try the pumpkin pie-but the soup was really nice! I think it's all in the spices you add :)

Happy Pie and Turkey Day - i went with sweet potato and ginger cookies! Oh delicious Pecans, the state tree of Texas, ya know. Now i will have to find a pecan pie soon! :D

Mmmm, another recipe I want to try!!! I thought of you when I saw the Texas connection. I also noticed that the recipe gave me too much filling for the size of the pie crust. But I reasoned that in Texas Everything is supposed to be biigger anyway! Tesco just needs bigger ready made pie crusts! (or I need to learn how to make them, I'm sure it's very simple!)

This looks delicious. Karo syrup is a simple clear corn syrup. We often used it when we ran out of maple syrup for pancakes. Happy Thanksgiving, samsarajade.
