heh, checked it out, ridiculous! used to call style of dancing the "done way-too-much E" dance. trendy fools.
for drops not exactly sure what aspect you mean.. but:
a measure before the drop i like to build up a lot of contrast... filter out the sub, sparse-out the instrumentals..
on the drop i've found a chorus effect works nice..start wide or narrow and pulse to the beat: wide on beat, centred off-beats, or the other way round. seems to help a lot with the dynamics.
