@branba88 It seems to me that a field strip of this particular weapon is extremely labor intensive(compared to others) and complicated, it takes me 10 seconds to field strip my Glock and have it reassembled and ready to shoot. I can do it one handed but it takes longer. What happens if you need to do a field strip in the middle of a gun fight cause of a malfunction? Yell at the guy "hey time out, my gun malfunctioned"
i think people are commenting on this gun before fireing it, i got two of them and both wont run a full mag before a jam or some kinda malfunction.i have some basic gunsmithing skills and still cant getem to run
Amen! original poster I agree with everything you said I just bought one today. All you youtubers don't just believe the nay saying gun snobs. Most folks who talk ill about these firearms, either hasn't actaully owned one or they bought one when the company was going through some problems... changing management and what not. I feel these are a nice and simple gun with good user friendly design. Take downs a breeze I got it my first try after reading provided manual.
Ha! Because the firing pen is really so far off center it may not fire. Also if you carry one in the chamber for a while the spring in the firing pen will get weak and cause a missfire.
Ha! This gun gets worse the more I use it. I use the recommended ammo. I clean it after everytime I come back from the range. It jams when it feeds, it jams when the spent bullet don't make it out of the gun, the recomm. ammo don't fit in the mag. and does'nt feed. The firing pen is so far off center sometimes it won't fire the ammo. The more you shoot this gun the worse it gets. I could not pass this onto someone else, I will take a metal grinder to it first.
I have a ja 22 and I gotta say im really impressed with the weapon. my friend has the ja 380 and it didnt jam up even once on him. I think all these people reporting jams are using cheap ammo. do yourself a favor and get some decent rounds.
good vid.i have a JA 22 thats a great little gun.i am looking for another ...either the 380 or the 32..most likely itll be the 380..have to drive 55 miles for it tho but its worth it to me
mine works fine also. and i buy th standard remington ammo. i tried federal hydra shock, and some garbage stuff called Tul ammo its like wolf but in the .380 it jams after 1 or 2 shoots waste of money...the ammo not the gun other then the crappy ammo insedent its a great gun
@Bosketman At a recent gunshow I saw this model chambered in .22, .25 and 380. The 9mm was a much larger model. I saw that it was available in blue, duo tone, brushed nickel, and nickle. They all sold for around 140 to 150 dollars brand new with two makes, trigger lock, manuals and box. PS thanks for a great review
I bought one of these used for 100.00 and it shoots great with no misfires, it's not made for target shooting at long distance but it's not made for that, it's for up close and personal.
I agree it only fires standard fmj and its a heavy sob but for those who cant afford Glock or Kimber prices can get one this was a gun i bought when I was broke
I did purchase one of these the day i got mt CCW, did i realy whant this one? No but short budget. I did put like over 300 rounds to, i figured it will only shoot FMJ, i tried some diferent ammo, the last one a +p, what broke the safe and fiering pin due the recoil. was scary. It does shot acurate, dut is not a range gun at all, it is heavy for the size to limited rounds. so do the right thing to your self, and do what i did. BUY A GLOCK!!!
if you want something this size to cary thats reliable try a polish radom p-64,its cheap too i got one for 150.00

Worst POS ever. If you need a cheap gun, get a Hi Point. This is absolute junk and a jam o matic.

It's the Ford Model T of hand guns...I cant afford the Porsche that's why I own one.
I have the JA-380 and I don't think you'll be disappointed. I've only put 26 FMJ thru it, no jams...It is what it is nothing more nothing less.
