Elder of the Ood reminds me of Yoda for some reason, although obviously a deformed Yoda with the beard that went hopelessly wrong or whatever to where he's as much squid as Yoda. A Yoda-squid. Squid Yoda says the force is strong with this young TimeLord. I'll shut up now.
@Mozzyeon Perhaps not, but it wasn't the first time the Master's actor was credited in the opening titles; it also happed in the 1996 TV film with Eric Roberts
Besides, in the climax of Part 2, they were both fighting against the Time Lords, so they were working together. K.
when i seen on TV at Christmas i thouth what the hell is he wearing he looked like he was going on Holiday i loved the way he locks the Tardies i think that was funny
It wasn't Martha's mother, even though she wanted to shoot him--it was his own wife, Lucy. I suspect it was part of his secret backup plan. Remember how that ring of his fell out of his pyre and got picked up?
I think Queen Elizabeth tried to have her men kill the doctor at the end of The Shkaespeare Code if I remember correctly. They didn't know why then though.
@Katiecath987654321 and in the new series the dream lord says to amy pond "did he tell you about elizabeth the 1st? well she thought she was the first.' and in the beast below that queen said to the doctor, 'the virgin queen? oh you naughty boy!"
Aww, I was hoping the story about how Elisabeth I came to be so mad at the Doctor would be a whole episode but obviously they couldn't fit it in before the regeneration any other way... Still, he married her? He slept with her?! ...
I sincerely hope he didn't sleep with her--heck, I doubt he'd be able to stop babbling long enough. Only Rose would stand a chance of shutting him up. ;)
of course the master's a timelord! sorry, but how can you not know that?
it's even in series three you get all the info!

@supermondo100 No, he kissed Rose and she was going to spend the rest of her life with him so he could grow old with her, at first I hated that because I don't think Rose would actually choose what's basically a clone iof the man she loves, but then again its a way that she can remain with the 10th form of the Doctor rather than Mat Smith :]
Yes! gotta love a blond John Simm as the Master! That was a slightly creepy Ood cult.....the Doctor looked good in a cowboy hat...coulda done without the lei though
What about the ultimate being? There was an episode of SJSA where they said that Earth was a prison for a being who once ruled the galaxy. His consciousness was separated from his body and put at the other end of the galaxy.
not in this, but in previous stuff, it says "he will knock 4 times," which every1 thinks means the master. but tennant said " if you think you've figured out what that means, you're wrong!" so i think maybe it has something to do with the thing from midnight, because we still dont know what that is, and it knocked 4 times, and tennant had no control over it.
Just checked out Wikipedia - says that Russell Tovey and Jessica Hynes will be in it. (they previously played Midshipman Alonso Frame (YUSS!) and Joan Redfern(most likely the character this time will be a descendant?)
I was watching another video earlier, it showed pictures taken of David and other characters in the End of Time and I was sure I thought Joan Redfern at the end. She was in a book signing thing for a book called The Journal of Impossible Things, which is of course about the Doctor. I have no idea what this means but thankyou for confirming that she is in it.
'The Journal of Impossible Things', by Verity Newman, has been stated somewhere.
Just some speculation, but perhaps the publication of this book puts unwanted attention on the Doctor, from the mysterious enemy...? I have no idea. lol
Ive got a feeling it will be the devil/beast. Obviously the master, timelords/gallifrey are coming back too. "This one knows me as I know him" in the imposible planet he said that. I think that means that he had already met the doctor and but it hadnt happened for the doctor let.
I think this because of all the cave drawings and the 666 said he was deafeat when people rose up BEFORE time. So maybe when gallifrey and timelords escape the timelock so does the devil??
I belive that the master is returning and so are time lords or maybe gallifrey, and i think that Time is at an End and The Doctor will have to kill him self in order to save everyone but after he does and everyone thinks he is dead, he will most probably regenerate. BUT this is only what i think, cant wait till it out!!!
nope, airs on Christmas Day and the second part on New Years eve I think. Also, I think it will most likely be a flashback with the timelords tbh, maybe a quick snippet of their deaths in the Time War. I'd love to see more but I think that will honestly be it as such a huge part of the most recent series has been the Doctor's survivors guilt. Then again, maybe that's RTD's main plot and the writer after him wants a different approach, who knows?
I wish David Tennant wouldn't leave, but you have to admit, they're doing it in style! I do think that Matt Smith has some VERY big shoes to fill - David Tennant is going to be a tough act to follow!
i agree with what you said, that matt smith has some big shoes to fill, cos david tennant was one of the best doctors ever, it'll be hard to replace david and be as good as he was, so i'm not sure if i'm looking forward to seeing how matt will be as the new doctor..i must say though that i'm glad john simm is gonna be in the christmas episode, cos i loved him as the master, i cant wait to see him again ;)
Time Lords! They are the masters of staying alive, very much like the Daleks are. Determined as hell, they are extremely hard to kill. They will find ways to survive you wouldn't believe. Take what the Master has done here in EOT to survive. Of course, I'm not about to tell you how he managed to survive since it would be a spoilerific spoiler to say, so I'm keeping that a suprise.
I know! Me Too! He's the best Doctor since Tom Baker! Seriously why does he have to go? I mean, they restricted themselves to like two specials instead of a full season during 2009 to accomodate his other projects!
Now this is the moment that time truly stands still, and everything around the universe seems to go into a state of slow motion. The Doctor pushed the boundries in Waters of Mars, coming to see himself as the God of Time, not just a Time Lord, so this ending is just and the transition should be astounding indeed. No Time Lord shall bloody well think of himself as the God of Time, thus to balance it all out, the Master has to return. This is perfect for introducing new charters into Dr. Who!
The reason his TARDIS is a police box, is because it used to camouflage on the outside into what ever suited the place he was in. He travelled to the Victorian era (where they had police boxes) and it locked up and didn't change any more, but he happened to like it so he decided to do nothing about it.
The Master is reborn on Christmas Eve. Battles rage across the wastelands of London and at the mysterious Immortality Gate. Meanwhile, the Ood warn of a danger that threatens the entire universe.
Part Two
The Master's plans are out of control, the sound of drums grows louder and an ancient trap is closing around the Earth. The Doctor faces the end of his life, as he and Wilf must fight alone and the prophecy warns: "He will knock four times.
It looks like the Doctor Who End of Time is going to be mega exciting, the Master is Back and perhaps Gallifrey will return. The Doctor will regenerate.
Time lords are in this epispde thats for sure I wouldn't say Gallifrey as such but maybe the Doctor does actually die in these episodes but comes back alive into Matt Smith somehow
I just wish they would explain how Queen Elizabeth the 1st fits into the story. That would be brilliant to have for David's final Doctor eps. I bet the Master is only the tip of the iceberg for the finale, I think the Beast could return or even the shadow proclamation having revenge.
timothy dalton (former jbond) and other actors are playing timelord officials. don't quite know why but, if you want to trust wikipedia, look up doctor who the end of time. much more info, but i'm running out of room.
Going off of how old the Doctor after Tennant is (SUCH a pity he's leaving, quite possibly my favourite doctor), I reckon I could be the next doctor. And I'm 17. I mean they do keep getting younger and younger! Although there is the fact that I'm not in the acting business...
Dude, you're not the only one. I'd like to know his name to. Man!! Why won't they tell us his name? All Gallifreyans are given a name, but some give themselves a title (like The Doctor has - and The Master - and The Rani - and The Meddling Monk). How I hate not knowing his real name. I gave the Doctor a name in my fan-fic, but I'd like to know his REAL name...
@DarkComet360 His name has not been revealed in the show or any of the accompanying media. Not even in the Academy on Gallifrey. Before he was called the Doctor, he had the nickname Theta Sigma. Some said it was because the was the lowest passing grade in the Academy and that was his average. Others say it is the first two letters of his name.
Well, he's actually got two birth names since he's of two Houses of two different Chapters (sounding good so far?) On his father's side, his name is Jodaranathalulandroshia Doralianin or 'Joda' or short. On his mother's side, his name is Jathralatalvilontempralia Kempalianvan or 'Jathral' for short. Mind you both his parents are Time Lords. However, the Doctor was born to the Prydonian Doraliana Family and not the Acadian Kempalia Family so Joda is this name he goes by.
Time Lords (name Gallifreyans) often get two birth names when they are of two different Primary Houses of two different Chapters. In the Doctor's case, it is two different familiy Houses, belonging to two different Primary Houses, belonging to two different Chapters. The same aplies to a Time Lord born to two different family Houses under the same Primary House. Primary House Lungbarrow is a Prydonian House, therefore any family Houses under its name are also Prydonian.
That is the case for all Houses and all Chapters of Gallifrey. The Doctor's House, the one he was born in, is House Doraliana, 497th House of Lungbarrow. Each Primary House can have up to 700 family Houses under its name, and 500 family Houses at least, where a few of these families may be endangered or extinct. The Doctor's family was (or rahter is) one of the most powerful and distinquished families on Gallifrey under the Lungbarrow name.
Nice! Usually fan-made stuff sounds weird and nerdy, but that makes sense and it wasn't some weird ridiculous name (well, it was weird, but not nerdy weird where there are numbers and stuff), it was a pretty neat, imaginitive name.
Will Matt Smith be a Tom Baker or a Sylvester McCoy?
If the writing is the same and Smith is half decent the series should be ok.
However , changng too many things too soon could spell disaster. Confirmed changes, the familiar internal tardis look, the logo, new dr, new producer. Will these changes be too much for the audience in one go?
The outside of the Tardis is changing slightly too. And there (apparently) is a reason for a story reason for this.
The thing is Tennant raised the bar so high as what is a very likeable doctor, and imo the only way you'll ever better that is by moving away from the Tenth Doctor (and the burden he carried from the time war) and starting afresh. I'm looking forward to it though, Moffat has helped produced some of the best NuWho eps. RTD looks as though hes going out with a bang.
i'm so excited! although it'll be a shame david tennant is leaving, he's one of my favourite actors thanks to doctor who. but i'm looking forward to a regular full series.
I must confess that I am shattered to be losing the brilliant David Tennant. He has been brilliant in the role of Dr Who and will be sincerely missed.
The new bloke does not LOOK the part and, again, I confess that I have not liked every Dr
In end of time the doctor goes back in time to the uear 2005. That was the year where the 9th doc met rose. He leans against a wall in pain and rose goes up to him and they talk for a little bit and then the doctor sees ood sigma again but the ood has red eyes. Also people say this is where he regenerates into the 11th doc!
i think this relates to the idea of galafray and the time lords and the master returning as the ood says "it is slowly returning, through the dark and the fire and the blood, always returning, it is returning and he is returning and they are returning, too late and he has come." now the too late and he has now come could be the doctor coming to the odd late or it could be the master?
Thanks so much for being so speedy I wasn't prepared to sit through CiN AGAIN knowing a kind soul like you would do that and upload it asap. Bless you!
The Dr married Queen Elizabeth I did he? No wonder she was so p*ssed at him when they met again in The Shakespeare Code...lol! Looks awesome!!!!

Unless of course you have a Tardis and went into the future.... You Bastard =P

It looks like the Doctor Who End of Time is going to be mega exciting, the Master is Back and perhaps Gallifrey will return. The Doctor will regenerate.
aerospaceguide 2 years ago
Time lords are in this epispde thats for sure I wouldn't say Gallifrey as such but maybe the Doctor does actually die in these episodes but comes back alive into Matt Smith somehow

Love Ya David........you have been & always will be the best =:)

why does one of the Oods look like Yoda from starwars ? :O :D and why does he have 2 brains? 1 in his hand and 1 og the head.

you havent seen planet of the Oods havent you?
DannyWeinkauf 2 years ago
Yes i have.. i know why they have their brains in the hand.. but 1 of them got 1 in the hand and on on the head :D
DrPhilFromTv 2 years ago
I just wish they would explain how Queen Elizabeth the 1st fits into the story. That would be brilliant to have for David's final Doctor eps. I bet the Master is only the tip of the iceberg for the finale, I think the Beast could return or even the shadow proclamation having revenge.

It is only distinctive of becoming the final TV chart-topper of the Noughties and the beginning of the 2010s.

Feidhelm1996 2 years ago
i can can confirm that, i do my research:
timothy dalton (former jbond) and other actors are playing timelord officials. don't quite know why but, if you want to trust wikipedia, look up doctor who the end of time. much more info, but i'm running out of room.
questions? anyone else? :-)

TheBvdhsghbuea 2 years ago
Going off of how old the Doctor after Tennant is (SUCH a pity he's leaving, quite possibly my favourite doctor), I reckon I could be the next doctor. And I'm 17. I mean they do keep getting younger and younger! Although there is the fact that I'm not in the acting business...

I REALLY want to know The Doctor's name, what River Song whispered in his ear.
man, i need to know...
hrraneruz 2 years ago
Dude, you're not the only one. I'd like to know his name to. Man!! Why won't they tell us his name? All Gallifreyans are given a name, but some give themselves a title (like The Doctor has - and The Master - and The Rani - and The Meddling Monk). How I hate not knowing his real name. I gave the Doctor a name in my fan-fic, but I'd like to know his REAL name...
DarkComet360 2 years ago 2
@DarkComet360 His name has not been revealed in the show or any of the accompanying media. Not even in the Academy on Gallifrey. Before he was called the Doctor, he had the nickname Theta Sigma. Some said it was because the was the lowest passing grade in the Academy and that was his average. Others say it is the first two letters of his name.
slashimagine 2 years ago
what name did you give him?
I'm curious about fan stories, they're fun to read.
I've made one where The Doctor meets Arthur Dent.

Arthur Dent. :)
nickbiales 2 years ago 2
Nice that sounds interesting! I wonder what would happen if the Doctor met up with the Vogons?
daRiddler32 2 years ago

DarkComet360 2 years ago
That is the case for all Houses and all Chapters of Gallifrey. The Doctor's House, the one he was born in, is House Doraliana, 497th House of Lungbarrow. Each Primary House can have up to 700 family Houses under its name, and 500 family Houses at least, where a few of these families may be endangered or extinct. The Doctor's family was (or rahter is) one of the most powerful and distinquished families on Gallifrey under the Lungbarrow name.
DarkComet360 2 years ago
Darkcomet, you DO know nobody gives a shit about Lungbarrow right? It isnt canon.
heyarnoldsknee 2 years ago
Nice! Usually fan-made stuff sounds weird and nerdy, but that makes sense and it wasn't some weird ridiculous name (well, it was weird, but not nerdy weird where there are numbers and stuff), it was a pretty neat, imaginitive name.
I think his name is Bob,
Cool stuff.

ColoradoRangerHorse 2 years ago
Will Matt Smith be a Tom Baker or a Sylvester McCoy?
If the writing is the same and Smith is half decent the series should be ok.
However , changng too many things too soon could spell disaster. Confirmed changes, the familiar internal tardis look, the logo, new dr, new producer. Will these changes be too much for the audience in one go?
MrTvfreak2008 2 years ago
very good analysis. :)
EmyRulz300 2 years ago
@MrTvfreak2008 isn't that the main theme of Doctor Who? Change?
TonyStarkMkIII 2 years ago 2
a bit of both
dim432 2 years ago
The outside of the Tardis is changing slightly too. And there (apparently) is a reason for a story reason for this.
The thing is Tennant raised the bar so high as what is a very likeable doctor, and imo the only way you'll ever better that is by moving away from the Tenth Doctor (and the burden he carried from the time war) and starting afresh. I'm looking forward to it though, Moffat has helped produced some of the best NuWho eps. RTD looks as though hes going out with a bang.
joncurtis199 2 years ago 2
i'm so excited! although it'll be a shame david tennant is leaving, he's one of my favourite actors thanks to doctor who. but i'm looking forward to a regular full series.

I must confess that I am shattered to be losing the brilliant David Tennant. He has been brilliant in the role of Dr Who and will be sincerely missed.
The new bloke does not LOOK the part and, again, I confess that I have not liked every Dr
atkenos 2 years ago 4
In end of time the doctor goes back in time to the uear 2005. That was the year where the 9th doc met rose. He leans against a wall in pain and rose goes up to him and they talk for a little bit and then the doctor sees ood sigma again but the ood has red eyes. Also people say this is where he regenerates into the 11th doc!

love the TARDIS now have remote locking LOL and the Queen Elizabeth bit, how long have we been waiting for that?
Is it xMas yet?
lancer1993 2 years ago 3
i think this relates to the idea of galafray and the time lords and the master returning as the ood says "it is slowly returning, through the dark and the fire and the blood, always returning, it is returning and he is returning and they are returning, too late and he has come." now the too late and he has now come could be the doctor coming to the odd late or it could be the master?
denty001 2 years ago
i think they mean the master is trying to recreate gallifrey out of the ood world
