Love how the old Metroplex was there. This animated series was awesome. Aside from the G1 movie. This series dared to build up great characters and sacrifice them. Oh ties were left open for the more sensative. But as far as I'm concerned, the Shockwave vs Blur thing proves just how cruel life can be.

Blurr didn't know Longarm Prime was Shockwave. He figured out how to go about uncovering Shockwave's real identity, and since Longarm Prime was head of Autobot Intelligence, Blurr returned to inform his boss. He's just unlucky in the way he found out that Shockwave *was* his boss.

It is my understanding that they had originally planned for Blurr's spark to be visible, as a potential "out" clause, however it didn't make it into the finished episode. It wouldn't have been covered in Season 3, and since it looks like there will be no Season 4, he's effectively dead. If things change, they could still do it, but until they do, it hasn't happened. Just like the current fate of TFA Soundwave and G1 Nightbird.
