They didn't break up. This couple is a part at SIC's soap opera 'Podia acabar o mundo', that is currently on air. This episodes are quite old, they haven't uploaded new ones for a while. I watch this soap quite often and I can tell you that theses are sonia and claudia's best episodes, because, right now, they're focusing in other stories and characters.
In this scene the couple went for a dinner with sonia's parents. They were trying to get along, but claudia screw it, when she said, right away, that they were about to get married. Her parents felt very uncomfortable with the situation. Sonia were very angry, she thinks that Claudia hushed things up.
