  • I want to eat the blond alive.

  • Absolutely great remake of Buck Owens' original "Streets of Bakersfield"!

Dwight Yoakam and the late Buck Owens did such a great job with their interpretation of Tex-Mex/Tejano/Norteno-style music incorporated into Country. Thanks for posting this excellent, HD version.

  • 1964 Pontiac Bonneville customized for Hank Williams Jr

  • Absolutely love this, thank you Dwight and Buck. My kind of music and men. :)

  • This is one of the all-time great songs by two of the all-time greats. This copy has the best resolution on Youtube too. thanks.

  • WOW! What a flashback, glad I found it. RIP Mr. Owens.

  • dont tell me what to do linda...

  • I totaly agree

  • This is what TRUE country music is!!!

  • BUCK OWENS IS MISSED IN MY HOME!!! but we play his records and i mean records every weekend.. folks I'm 38 from Los Angeles, Buck was and still is the man! Dwight Yoakam kicks ass as well!!!

  • Love the rifles on the big white car must be Bucks....

  • I believe Dwight was the first to sport "skinny jeans". LOL. As for this song I remember my ex husband turning me on to this song. I happen to like it because it reminds me of some of the crap the ex used to do.

  • Flacito!!

  • I remember this song from when I was19 and me a my dad were driving around the back roads of Flinton, Ontario hunting Partridges from the car. I'm not a huge country music fan but somethimes hearing a song like this can bring memories flooding back. Then of course the Liberal party took our guns away and F**KED everything up. Now that Steven Harper is scrapping the long gun registry I hope we will get to do it again. Miss it so much.

  • Great song and love the Flaco J. accordian. Buck is the best and Dwight Yoakam was the LAST of the real country stars. I don't even listen to the modern day garbage that passes for country music.

  • @johnnyghee Flaco was also a member of Texas Tornadoes. He had jammed with Doug Sahm all the way back to the '70s. Genius!

  • LOVED TO PLAY IT ON THE RADIO...ALWAYS GOT GREAT CALLS

"NOW TELL YOUR LOCAL RADIO TO QUIT SCREWIN UP COUNTRY MUSIC" (GREAT AUDIO AND VIDEO WITH THIS VERSION THANKS TO 'RoyalRustic ')
