@ghlusam - yea...well, they were still pretty much in the beginning stages of their relationship. When they slept together, they didn't know that they were really REALLY falling in love at this point. A lot of us S&B fans think they were both pretty scared of what they were feeling.

When brenda came to town( she was always around Jason and A.J. they were all teenagers) Lila took a liking to her and when things went bad with her Jagger, Lila invited her to move into the Q mansion.

@sonnybrenda51 me too! such moments in life and screen are so rare. sonny's been paired with every other woman, but not equal their sparks. in fact, i credit vanessa marcil with making sonny's character likeable. he was loathed when he first came on, during the karen times. maurice even said in an interview he didn't receive much fan mail til his character was paired with vanessa marcil's. viva S&B!

Just my thoughts here, but Sonny had never cared for or loved a woman as intensely as Brenda. Like he says in the previous scene, He'd never been straighter meaning honest or forthright with any women ever. I think when he woke up and touched her in the morning it scared him to death. Because he wondered why a woman like Brenda with him at all & because he was afraid he or his lifestyle would screw up the relationship. Sonny is complicated but fascinating!

I agree with you. When this storyline was going on, I hated being an S & B fan! I felt like everytime they were happy the next episode would be a horrible fight! Looking back on it now, I can understand their story so much better. Brenda and Sonny were eachother's first real, adult loves and they stuggled with all the fear, ugliness, & beauty that comes along with that.

@SonnyBrendaFan Brenda is his first Love he loved her soooo much that when he found out they were coming for him again and him and brenda were going to get married she told him I will go anywhere with you, he left her at the altar so his enemies wont' go after her they had already shot her in the shower, kidnapped, left for dead in a cave he couldn't take it if anything happened to her ! He wanted to protect her so he left ! I was so upset with him when that happened !! Lol
