  • The soviet union fell, so now we need a new boogy man, and that is the muslim terrorist. It's a good way to scare you into voting a certain way. What a joke. This tactic was tried decades ago.

  • Haha, nice try Bush

  • Vote for the Democrats in 11/7/06 and DIE. Well, the only Americans to die in the 13+ months since this ad have been sent to their deaths by REPUBLICANS!!!

  • ter‧ror‧ism /ˈtɛrəˌrɪzəm/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ter-uh-riz-uhm] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation

--noun 1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.

    2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.

    3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

  • Who are the terrorists?? Notice definition number three!

  • I guess anyone wishing to rule, and those who stand against them, are BOTH terrorists.

So, you are either with us, or against us. But everyone is a terrorist!

  • with increasing clarity & numbers svanne. The emperors are truly becoming easier to read. Soon they will stand naked before us.

  • Shows the low life nature of the GOP to fear-monger in an attempt to fool the American people again and again and again, Well, finally people can smell the stink. Give up the divide and conquer routine you fascists. We see through yo!

  • The GOP did a great job of protecting Americans on Sept 11, 2001.

  • Republicans have officially adopted Osama Bin Laden as their spokesman. LOOOL

  • "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." -Benjamin Franklin

  • what a load of shizer

  • LOL! they really made this fearmonging video! I was right about Osama Bin Laden will be their best spokesperson,LOL! this is soooooo funny.

  • part 2:The fact that they can pump up the fear is of great importance. To empower the terrorists is to empower the president. Think about it, if they had used this kind of fear during the cold war would have been truly frightening; why? - because Russia at the time was a viable threat. For them to have done this type of fear-mongering during the cold war would have empowered Russia, right? So why would the GOP and Bush empower the supposed terrorists? Because they simply don't exist.

  • All of this fearmonging to the extreme, just lends creedence to the fact that the whole entire islamic-fundamentalism terror mongering is a made-up concoction by the leaders of the west, that doesn't even exist. They (GOP) play [pray] on our ignorance of eastern cultures. If Islamic fundamental terrorism was for real, they wouldn't have to play it up so much, because they too (GOP) would be scared and this would reason a much more cautious approach.

  • click on my name for "These are the stingrays," which the GOP uses the fear of stingray attacks to get folks to vote.

  • hahaha Osama Bush Laden

  • Man it is refreshing seeing all of these comments. Keep up the good fight, we can and WILL win. STOP THE NWO!

  • It is so heartening to see the total dominance of negative comments to this fear mongering piece (of shit).

You got that NeoCon New World Order scum! We ain't buying your b.s. anymore. So don't try another false flag terror attack on us, or it's YOUR ASS.

You listening NSA! F U and your Fema camps you MF's. Stick your satanic fascist, orwellian fantasies where the sun don't shine.

  • Fuck the GOP.

    Nuff said.

  • I have waited for them to do this for a long time. and this will be their fall. The only thing bad about Bush leaving office is that we can't really make fun of the president anymore.

  • I guess we are suppose to vote republican because after all these years they still haven't caught osama?

  • lol. I think this is probably helping Democrats out more than Republicans. Fucking fearmongers.

  • It's been 1,862 days since WMD said he'd catch UBL 'Dead or Alive!' USA USA USA

  • As that BBC pointed out, fear mongering is a core ideology of Neoconservativism. Scare-tactic ads like this, only help to reinforce this point.

  • This is a sickening ad campaign, blatently playing on people fears, well i guess as they went to all the trouble in desiging 9/11 themselves they want to milk it for all they can.

  • By voting Democratic you help restore balance, support moderation and new approaches to problems that this government, to date, has been unable to address. With balance restored the Republican's will still have a say, and will have the bully pulpit to persuade, but will not have free reign. This government needs to answer to the people, and it will not do so as long as the people blindly, in fear, follow and support this failed administration!

  • The only thing we have to fear...is pathetic scare tactics by a cabal of cowardly Vietnam draft dodgers.

  • I can't believe this is not satire.

  • THIS is why we never caught Osama--the GOP needs Osama out there in order to keep scaring the sh*t out of everyone. Osama is probably dead, they just don't want anyone to know. It's not like anyone has heard from him in a few years.

  • Well, looks like the GOP has the "pee in your pants" vote sewed up. Anyone with an ounce of sense can see that if trying to scare people into voting Repub is all they've got, they're desperate.

  • You can also click on my name to see the same ad. click on THE STAKES - Vote Nov 7th.

  • Click on my name to see the Independent American response to this GOP ad.

  • The RNC bought an itty-bitty ad buy for this ad, hoping to get free publicity. Why they would want to point out that we are in more danger after 6 years of them being in power is beyond me.

Long way from "We have nothing to fear but fear itself!" Name that Democrat.

  • Osama is the best republican...

  • Osama Bin Laden? More like Osama Been Snugglin'!

  • Republicans have gotten away with this fear mongering before in 2004 when America rejected Senator Kerry's wise plan for America. Will they be able to decieve us again using fear and smear?

  • Americans are so stupid that they will believe anythink.

  • It's the strawman argument again: "vote Republican or die!"

Thank you for uploading this. I've been looking for it all day.

  • If the war on terror were not a hoax, the borders would have been sealed on 9/12.

  • thank you Andy, your point is right on target!

  • To bad for the dems because we all know we will keep all our seats if not gain more.

  • you must be joking

  • Listen up people, when it gets right down to it, the pedophilia, the corruption, the suspension of civil liberties, the torturing of prisoners, the national debt, the flooding of New Orleans-- None of this stuff matters! BUSH IS THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL PROTECT THE CHILDREN!

  • I think this is an absolutely wonderful ad. It reminds the public that our country is still vulnerable to attack. It raises fear in the hearts of the viewer. Where the Republicans missed the mark though is that now the majority of Americans recognize that the Democrats are better able to protect them and stronger on national defense. Thank you GOP for the free ad. Us Democrats, the true patriots, really appreciate it.

  • Thank you, RNC, for reminding us that the Republicans have not caught Osama Bin Laden.

  • I just think that this is a crazy last ditch by the GOP to gather the few American's that they can out there. While the Democrats are Centering around other items of talk on this election, the GOP is still harping on the War. I truely don't think the Democrats are seeing the War as a "Non-Threat" but I believe its part of their platform to not talk about a topic that the American people are tired of hearing about.

  • It's not about fear or fear mongering. It is about understanding. We must understand that our enemy cannot be negotiated with. Their fundamentalist beliefs require our deaths and there is nothing we can do to change that unless we are willing to all convert to being fundamentalist Muslims. I am not afraid. But, I am aware. The Dems/Libs are in denial.

  • >The Dems/Libs are in denial.

What makes you think Dems don't know that Osama is evil? Do you think it would be of great use to make an ad to remind that fire is hot, that water is wet, that earth is round?

  • your Spin, is becoming as transparent as this administration. Who started radical islam & trained the mujahadeen in the 80's in Afghanistan to thwart the russians? Do I need to answer that? Or is it that the cool air you're breathing would go to better use in people who think critically.

  • Dems ask "Do you feel safer than before Bush and 9/11?" This is based on false logic. Consider an example: A burglary in your home causes you to put in an alarm system. Your house is truly safer than before the burglary. But, do you feel safer than before the burglary? "NO"... because before, ignorance was bliss. But now, no matter how secure your house is, you are more aware of the danger so you cannot feel safer than you did before you were aware. Don't be fooled by Dems half logic.

  • The question you should really ask yourself is if that burglar wasn't the alarm system salesman in the first place.

  • The question you should ask yourself is whether you see conspiracies everywhere you look or just among people who have ideological differences with you.

Don't be fooled by Dem half logic.

  • Wow. Notice how nasty, mean and profane the Dems are who commented here?

  • What the fuck does that have to do with anything? You know, being called a motherfucking traitor makes you want to swear. Dems are done playing nice while you fuck over our country and the world. THAT is profanity.

  • Neocons have ONLY been using smear tactics & rarely (if ever) debate facts. Or was it those troublesome Libertarians who invented the words, "Kook", "Moonbat" or "Tin-Foil hat"? Maybe some people (at least 84% of America) are 'over' the tricks & don't mind dishing it out right back? Maybe it's WAY OVERDUE!

  • Geez, calm down. We can all be friends here, can't we? We can disagree without flinging obscenities was all I was trying to say; and maybe philler has been called a nasty name or two, but not by me. Why can't you guys judge me for the discourse right here, instead of stereotyping?

  • I don't think you appreciate just HOW angry some of us are. 3000 civilians dead (most likely on purpose), almost 3000 troops dead, over 650,000 Iraqis dead & the death of our nat'l. credibility.

  • If you were truly a neocon like Bill Kristol or Phillip Zelikow not only is there NO way we could be friends, but if you were one of those men in my presence, it would be very hard NOT to eviscerate you with my bare hands.

  • I guess your screen name riled me up. Having said my peace & assuming that you're actually a human being , please, make a civil statement using facts & I will gladly debate using only facts.

  • My screen name comes primarily from my frustration with the utter ineffectiveness of the U.N., who we cowtow to when it comes to our interests abroad.

I understand that some people are angry at the Iraq war. Hell, so am I! I won't start an argument about why we're there; it would be a moot point now.

  • However, we wouldn't be looking at the number of dead civilians over there that we are if our politicians would quit looking at polls and allow our military to make the decicive actions necessary to secure the country from terrorists, such as CLOSING down the Iranian/Syrian borders. That would help cut of the fresh supply of 'insurgents.' The number of foreign v.s. national terrorists is some matter of dispute, but it couldn't hurt matters to know who is coming and going!

  • I also think unless Iran's current regime is toppled from the inside, we have put ourselves in a geographical position to be able to deal with them if they become hostile. (Again, if our politicians would quit screwing around in Iraq, this would be more feasable.)

  • I'm starting to think that Chaos was actually what was desired by the neocons, not a new democracy or stability. Chaos for there & here.

  • They have already stated their intent towards Israel, that they should be "wiped off the map," and regardless of your feelings concerning the Jewish state, I think that we can agree that Iran shouldn't be attacking innocent civilians.

  • The death of our national credibility most likely happened in the early 90's, with the Blackhawk Down incident, the unanswered bombing of the U.S.S. Cole, the first WTC bombing, and the capitulation to the U.N.'s utter ineffectiveness with Darfur, which we swore would never happen again... And yet it goes on today.

  • I'm not saying that we ought to be global policemen, but we are being made into Bobbies by the U.N.: All bark and no bite. If we're going to use our military, (and I believe that we should to protect ourselves and our allies) then we should use it in a decisive way, and not when the U.N. says so.

  • I like this ad. Let's show Osama Bin Laden, whom we swore to capture, and put him in the public eye to remind people how "hey, we failed".

Good going. Remind people that in the event of another catastrophe it was the Republicans who didn't capture him in the last 6 years.

  • Douchebag republicans, this is right out of the Orwellian dictionary jesus christ

  • These truly are the stakes. One party -- and only one party -- wants to take the necessary actions to protect America from the Islamofascists.

The Democrats, on the other hand, have no real plan for protecting America. They are anti-war, but have no plans for safguarding America's interests. It's sad, really, that the Democrats' hatred for George Bush has caused them to want America's sworn enemies to win.

  • nobody move, the republican is a very naive creature and can only see you whilst in motion.

  • Tell ya what, continue supporting this administration.

    Good luck!!!!

  • Democrats have realistic plans for fighting terrorism, you just don't care to know what they are. Pay attention.

Democrats can be critical of the administration and want to decrease terrorism at the same time. See how that makes more sense?

  • >wants to take the necessary actions to protect America from the Islamofascists.

By 'necessary actions' you mean setting up sharia rule in Iraq and making it the closest ally of Iran? (Which they did). Oh that was brilliant 'action'. Might as well make Islam official religion in USA.

  • "only one party wants to take the necessary actions to protect America from the Islamofascists." I guess that's why our southern border has been so secure post 911 huh'? Or why our ports were/are up for bid. Please! It's been 5 years of them doing nothing but stripping our rights away.

  • It's not the Repubs or the Dems, Right or Left. Both parties have been infected for over 100 years. Do you REALLY believe these 2 parties are SO polarized? Please watch http://tinyurl*com/ymszrx & wakey wakey!

  • they are getting desperate... anyone check the between frames for psyc suggestions? Its not like they haven't done it before. Notice at the end the heart beat on the muzic, trying to provoke a fear response but its been over done so much that it is just old hat now..

  • Crazy republicans, they think they are smart and 'touch', but in reality they hate everything that patriots fight and die for. Waste of fucking oxygen in my opinion, just quit life if you're a republican.

  • 'tough'***

  • now now Herr, let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater. To me, it's not a Dem or Rep problem, but a 'blind loyalty' problem. We are adults (most of us) & are capable of making vital decisions for ourselves. We need to grow up & take responsibility or just die (because if we can't take responsibility, we really don't deserve anything.) But I'm completely for 'blind-loyalists' to stop breathing (by force if needed) air needed by people who can actually think for themselves.

  • I love the part where Jack Bauer pulls out his gun and, oh wait, sorry wrong movie.

  • Blatant fear mongering like this is corrosive to the American way of life. If the Republicans cared about Al Qaeda they would still be looking for Bin Laden and not creating new terrorist recruits in Iraq.

  • goddamn republican propoganda scare-tactic bullshit.

  • Wrong! It's not about fear, it's about understanding. We must understand that our enemy cannot be negotiated with. They're fundamentalist beliefs require our deaths and there is nothing we can do to change that unless we are willing to all convert to being fundamentlast Muslims. I am not afraid. But, I am aware.

  • The "Wrong" part of my post was not referring to the video but to those who said this was a scare tactic.

  • if you are "aware" then visiting wtc7(dot)net shouldn't bother you

  • I don't mind at all. I'm always open to information. Maybe you wouldn't mind visiting http://www.popularmechanics(dot)com/technology/military_law/1227842.html

    Regards.

  • interesting, my comment back to you was completely edited out of the blah-bosphere. My inner-nerd is hurt : (

  • I like page 3 on the PM report you linked, they basically gloss over WTC7

  • more censorship, again,. goddamn Google CIAtube.

  • Are you sure you're stuff is getting censored? Sometimes I don't see my comments right away, but they show up later. I am currently seeing several responses from you. Maybe you're just a little too prone to believe everything is a conspiracy?... like WTC7. If anything, You tube leans Lib, don't you think?

  • I'm positive i've been censored here & on other posts, it's frustrating to say the least.

  • Hmmm... perhaps. I sometimes feel the same way when I make conservative posts on yahoo. Seems like many of my posts get "dropped". Still, especially as someone who works with computers and programmers. I think it is more likely just "buggy" code than conspiratorial censorship. Consider Achems Razor. Regards

  • consider, I have a friend here , ViolatoroftheRegime who has experienced the same thing & it has only gotten worse for me this week. Why is it that I am constantly told by YouTubes' system that my posts are over 500 characters when I know they are less than 50? & every Rush/o'Reilly wannabee seems to be able to spew ad infinitum?

  • & I have considered "Occam's razor" & it told me that steel reinforced structures don't fall from fire.

  • This so desperate it's fuckin HILARIOUS!! Even better than when Bush told Matt Lauer that the terrorists want to kill his family. Thanks GOP for the reminder that you fucked up with Afghanistan, the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and Iraq. And we should vote for you...why?
