McCain says Obama doesn't acknowledge that America is winning the war in Iraq. What McCain doesn't acknowledge is that America is NOT wining the war on terrorism. The war was not supposed to be against the Iraqis, but against the terrorists who are against American interests.And while America is using up its respurces on Iraq, the terrorists are most probably having coffe with snaks in Pakistan and Afganistan plotting their next move.Does McCain understand that?Ofcourse, he just doesn't get it.

Alternativa fuels will create a whole new industry and major jobs around the world. Oil companies could invest in this and be number 1 alternative fuel suppliers if they want too.

Just votre republican and start with alternative fuel when theres only 5 years oil left in the world, when prices are ultra record high when filling your tank costs 20 dollars a gallon. The longer we wait with other fuels, the more profit they make. their main goal is to wait as long as possible....

problem is,oil companies already have 80.000 million acres that they can dril right now. but they dont. They want to be allowed to drill on places that they arent allowed too, because its a good moment to ask.

The only good option is alternative fuels, OIL WILL RUN OUT. its better to start now, oil prices will only go higher and higher, theres only oil for 50 years. Oil companies dont want to drill and lower prices, they want prices high.

Yes, Obama is right to reconsider off shore drilling (he should also open Alaskan fields) in exchange for broad clean energy alternatives. Quit giving other countries our wealth when we have more than adequate resources. Also, have a massive program to upgrade our nation's infrastructure that will overcome our current economic difficulties and create efficient towns, cities, water, and energy resources well into this century. Do it as one nation working together. Go Obama.

Obama i love your speeches they are very uplifting. im a supporter i agree with the tax breaks but americans cant survive on tax break alone. we need to make alternate sources of energy our main priority. we need to eliminate our dependency on oil. by doing this our economy will improve because america will control inflation on energy cost. more jobs will be created because the new energy must be ditrubuted and created and we can finally stop sending our money to places that support terrorism.
