My business partner and i shot this video and the photos of the fire trucks on the scene that we had to turn over to the fire marshal. I went back the next day for an interview with the news. One of the worst things i have ever seen in my life. - Eric

2 years ago...My house was 3459 ridgecrest, *yes thats my old account "donttasemebro92".... I was such a chubby kid back then. That was me back then in the blue shorts and brown shirt. I had no shoes because it happened so fast.

I've lived in an apartment all of my life...btw 23...that's got to suck to lose your home after you've gone through all of the trouble to invest in it....I'm sincerely sorry for your lost....those were some beautiful homes...just gone in the blink of an eye

i saw this not far away, it spread so fast!

The firefighters were on Ridgecrest right after the fire started, as this video shows. But it took them at least 20 more minutes to get crews to Melody Lane. The fire was coming down the hill,behind these houses. Where my son, myself and neighbors were using house hoses to slow the fire from burning the fences, feet from Melody Lane houses.

God Bless the people who lost their homes!
