Well of course we need sweet worship because the worship isnt for us its for God and he calls us to worship in spirit and in truth which is what hillsong have done, will do and will continue to do in Jesus name John 4:23-24

If your going to criticsize worship then please take that up with God and do not speak based on your critical views. Base your view on the bible thats the only authority that counts.

@fijiization Well, I agree that in a lot of ways American Christians (myself 100% included) will shirk suffering or standing out for their faith. But there is nothing wrong with enjoying a good worship song! We are told many times in the Bible to sing and dance before the Lord together with other believers. Hillsong is simply using their talents to give glory to God and encourage other believers. God created sweet sounds for us to enjoy :) God bless!

But many a times people including christians sub-consciously lose their direction and sing without a purpose. So i agree that singing with nice music is needed, just that its part of what we do when we seek Him (: correct me if i'm wrong i'm stating my point of view
