Man the guy is so high...is slurring his speech...He is on opiates...thats such a shame...Yo Americans WAKE UP!STOP THE PRESCRIPTION SHIT!Stop the legal murders...
This breaks my heart. He deserved happiness, he could have had a wife and grandchildren. Instead there came this slut vikki lizzie or whatever her damn name is who breathed a bad atmosphere on him. He should have been encouraged. It looked like no one was there for him. He's in a much better place now, I wish him every happiness because he deserves it. He was a beautiful and talented actor, and thats how he should be remembered. RIP Jeff, you are deeply missed XOXO
I posted this a bunch of times because I don't want the addiction show to be what he's remembered for. I hated seeing that - you never got to see the kind-hearted Jeff Conaway who went out of his way for me when he didn't have to.
That's who I remember. I signed up to study acting w him (~2000) & had to cancel (a tough time w the death of 2 friends). He took time to ask me about it & I think he prayed with me (or for me).
I recall seeing Jeff Conaway' in The Bold and the Beautiful when I was a little kid, and seing him in Babylon 5 when I was a teenager. Saw him on celebrity rehab many many years later as an adult, and it pained me so much to see the problems he had. I started hoping he would make it and started googling, and found out that he had died. So sad. He seemed like a really good guy.
wow i didnt even recognize him by this or his name utill he said he played on taxi and grease. its sad he passed away i always loved his comedy skits on taxi. does anybody know if he had cancer or what was his main ailment? thanks to who ever knows and godbless.
@RYLEYBOY7 sorry to bother ya but i saw your comment about jeff conaway death. could you please write me and tell me how he died and what all they knew was wrong with him and when he died. thanks for the trouble i appreciate it. godbless.
Jeff was truly a gifted actor that lost his way but not spirit. He played a role in my indie film about actors in Hollywood, and was sober and amazing in it...check it out here on YouTube:
Of course we'll all miss our beloved bad boy Bobby from Taxi. But I'd never seen this Scott Stewart guy before, and was very impressed. He's somehow able to do the shmoozing bit without being obnoxious and irritating about it. Most hosts just can't pull it off, but Scott maintains that delicate balance. I expect some bigger stuff from this guy. I can see him with his own major channel daytime talk show someday. He's like Carson Daily was, except you can stand him for more than 2 minutes.
@scottstewart This is the real Scott Stewart? Cool! Well, you have a right to enjoy any such compliment, but if he read the same post, Carson Daly ain't feelin' so good right now. As I very unoriginally say on my vlogs, I just call 'em as I see 'em.
I have read several negatives comments regarding Jeff's girlfriend Vicki. Jeff loved her, wanted to be with her and that was his choice. Where was that any business of anyone else? She seemed to care for him and must be missing him, too. We should respect Jeff's feelings in that he cared for her. Rest in peace, Jeff.
How odd (and sad) that this is the best I have seen him looking and sounding in a long time.....At least now he is finally at rest........Vikki was nothing but a contributor to his problems and she was another of his addictions he could never stop, sad....:( RIP Jeff, despite it all you had a good heart and it is a shame those demons could never leave you..RIP buddy
Why is she there? I see his name posted behind him, but why would ANYONE want to see her, other than in a drive thru window taking an order at McDonalds?
Sad to hear he was looking forward to such an interesting project in June. It often seems that people die just when they're really looking forward to doing something that has the capability of putting their life on an upswing. R.I.P. Jeff.
Scott thank you so much for the fine interview with Jeff. I had just watched your show here on locale cable Thursday and it was so good to see Jeff in good spirits and looking forward to the film shoot in June. I am saddened to learn of his passing this weekend.
@fredwilder Thanks so much for checking out the show. It was terrible to find out about Jeff after just meeting him. Jeff was in alot of pain so I'm glad he is not suffering anymore.
How sad that Jeff lost the battle with his demons. He was a great talent and he had such hopes for himself. I always hear so many people talk about addicts and being a choice. I think when someone gets super addicted, it is NOT a choice anymore. Who would CHOOSE to live like that?
I wasnt giving up Hope for him to fully recover. Ive seen Gods Hand touch many who have recovered from different things when hope was gone and Ive also seen the opposite and lost friends/family when they life was shortened...
he totally needed to dump her and concentrate on his sobriety. She enabled him, was an addict herself. He had pain every day and needed what he wasn't getting in terms of encouragement to handle the pain in other ways without pills.
Jeff carried his torch for as long as he could and crossed the finish line. Though he is no longer in pain... those he left are.. please pray for his family, close friends and fans that hold him close to their hearts.....
I would say, like Mickey Mantle prior to his demise, that Jeff IS a role model for what not to succumb to-in this case drugs. He listed all his credits and I'm thinking "Wow, this guy was blessed to be a part of a powerful medium and generally well-liked", and yet there must have either so much temptation or self-loathing going on. I cannot understand it. But drugs and/or alcohol do not solve anything. RIP Jeff. thanks for the memories.
this is soooo sad, he seems like he's drugged or stroked out, while he looks good for 60, he looks really rough from the drugs and alchohol -- really sad as he's very talented and reputed to be a really nice guy... hope he pulls through
I have always liked Jeff. He appears to be very lethargic in this clip. Poor soul. I hope he turns his life around if he recovers from his coma. He is still a handsome man at age 60.
