  • so just the steam once a week, and everything else every day?

    you are a true beauty

  • @loveforeignaccents That's what I do. I do exfoliate w/ Baking soda or salt once during the week.

  • Love your videos!!

  • Your skin is gorgeous! I can't wait to try this out:)

  • YOU BETTA WORK!!! Love everything about this, including the ending lol. Very informative

  • Fantastic tutorial!

  • I saw your twist out on another video you uploaded and it was absolutely beautiful! I love the straigtened look too. I'm in the process of growing out my relaxer and you're giving me hope (cuz man this ain't easy).

  • Would distilled white vinegar work as well? Great tutorial by the way! I love your laugh at the begining. I just recently came across your blog and am reading it through and through.

  • @xXWinterLilacXx I would think so. I just used some yesterday for my steam facial.

  • Love the tips. And, your hair looks fab in this vid. Did you ever make the video in which you disclosed the name of the unit you're wearing? I think you stated in the comments below that you'd mention the name of the unit in a subsequent vid. In any case, it's beautiful on you. #WINNING

  • @peacefulexistence I don't remember this name. But, I bought it b/c it was similar to Drew by Beshe and LaJay by Vanessa.

  • i really like your tuto: easy, simple, beautiful!

  • @Abi6903 Thank you and let me know how it works for you.

  • lol I love u sooo much..As Jamaican people would say "Mi spirit tek to u"

  • @MekkaSG thank you.

  • You know I'm feeling the house, I'm so from Chicago...

  • great video

  • Great video, I have one question and it is: You said you have the ACV and "mother" in it, what is the "mother"?

  • @142Nea The residue found at bottom. It's unfiltered.

  • Great info. will definitely be trying this soon; I already have the cetaphil, apple cider vinegar, shea butter. Thanks for posting.:)

  • the baking soda hasn't affected the enamel on your teeth has it?

  • @ideolojay No, the peroxide will though. I use that sometimes, but not too often.

  • Came across ur channel. Love ur videos. I'm definitely going to try the steam facial. Check out my video I use cetaphil becz I have eczema & it works great!!

  • @Tone202 I'm interested. Send me a message so we can chat more.

  • You said that Aquaphor is your night time moisturizer. Is the shea butter your daily moisturizer or do you use something else?

  • @ldyofalltrades I alternate. But, yes, I mostly use Aquaphor at night & shea butter in the day.

  • @ldyofalltrades Thx. I'm glad they work for you.

  • You have the most contagious personality I've seen in a longtime. Anyway my father and I both have dry skin and we both use Shea Butter and Aquaphor to balance our skin, for me it works for my T-zone. You are dead-on about both products.

  • Hmmm my skin needs help. I'm stumped by what to do next. I may try this. Btw you look absolutely radiant and always dancing! Have a great week

  • Share your playyyyliiiiiist!!!!! I like the music!!! You're gorgeous xD

  • @Laurnea Lol, the music is listed in the description box. I need to create a playlist though

  • @motorcitymoxie Oh oh!! didn't pay attention, thank you!! xD

  • @melvin1123 Thanks Melvin

  • @motorcitymoxie you are so welcome

  • I've got to say..I've tried this and it works SO WELL. As soon as I finished watching this vid I pulled out the pots lol. I'm going to continue to do this... Thanks for your videos & blog I love em!

  • @Msadriiiable Thank you for watching. Glad it worked well.

  • I just found your channel...had to sub because of your energy and personality! Look forward to browsing more of your vids! Be blessed!

  • @perfectlycoiffed05 Thanks you!

  • Your welcome. Let me know how it works out for you. lol I have never used baking soda on my hair, and baking soda is actually to harsh for my face. ;) I hope you had a wonderful thanks giving.

  • ACV doesn't strip my hair, it helps to get rid of the build up of products. It leaves my hair feeling good, even before I cowash with my conditioner. I try to cowash my hair more often then wash it with shampoo. My hair loves deep conditoner treatments. You should try it maybe less then a half cup of acv and half cup of water, spray on hair, rub thru scalp, clean feeling. :)

  • @Teetee554 Ok cool. Thank. I think the las time I used ACV it was combined with baking soda. That was a definite no no. I'll give ACV a try

  • I will definitely try your regimine. Very inexpensive and seems to be doing wonders for your skin. One question...what's going on with your hair in the intro? I LOVEIT!!! Do tell!!!

  • you have such great energy it's contagious. Great video and tips !!

  • Thanks so much for sharing!! ACV w/the mother is the best!

  • u better rock off to ur house girl! beautiful skin

  • i really enjoy your videos your personality is really nice. please post more videos more videos please, even ootd, more hair cair

  • @vipconnect2008 Will do!

  • Hey what is you skin type? are you oily skinned? Shea butter seems to break my skin out and I am very oily. I do a steam treatment using the Oil cleansing method, similar to this, with castor oil, hazelnut, jojoba and a few drops Tea tree oil. trying to see if it really helping with my blemishes tho..any tips in that respect? haha, almost missed you at the end of the vid doing your thang with the House music, my fav too! : ) God Bless.

  • @abawitx I'm normal to oily. I've tried OCM but I broke out when i used Castor Oil and EVOO. I think I would need different oils. Until then, I stick / Neutrogena & Cetaphil. The shea butter helps to fade blemishes; but many ppl love MSM soap, especially if you have acne.

  • Your skin is beautiful, so adopting this!

  • @fya4you Thank you

  • <---- Detroit in the House!!!! Loving Biggy & Smalls... You have beautiful skin and Cetaphil is that deal! Have you ever attended the meet ups...?

  • @KokoMidori Not yet, but I live in STL.

  • LOLL I too thought that was you in the Big Sean video lmao

  • @fotogenikk Lol, I just watch the vid. It's not me, but I see how we could be mistaken.

  • Very informative video. Thanks for this. Totally off topic but were you in the Big Sean "My Last" video? I could've sworn I saw you in the beginning.

  • @MsDivineBrown Lol, no that wasn't me. I heard he is from Detroit though.

  • So lovely, thanks for the tips.

  • Cetaphil is the TRUTH! My doctor told me about it when I was a little girl its really the most gentle cleaner! I love house music too Im from Chicago (cant footwork though lol)! Great vid!

  • @natashwill Chicago has some great House DJs.

  • Girl I ran out and purchased the Cetaphil..couldn't find the aquaphor I will check walgreens tomorrow. I will give it go for week...Your Beautiful!!Thanks for the Tips

  • @TheGpmdesigns Yeah Cetaphil is the truth. I use it mostly at night w/ EVOO to remove my makeup.

  • Your skin looks fabulous bella. I have a similar routine also.

  • thanks ms moxie, i enjoy your vids, this vid is very helpful can't wait to try it =D

  • I love watching your vids...they always make me smile :)

  • This is one of those "oldies but goodies" my mom as shown me since I was a kid...never really followed it consistently, but now I am for sure, my skin needs to come back to it's full youthful glow :)

  • @AfroQueenShae Yeah it's an traditional remedy. It works too.

  • wht can you recommend for acne scars/acne generally?

  • @Pinkperpetual Many ppl swear by MSM. Try the soap. I used to take MSM powder because I was working out with Insanity & it's hard on the knees. Other ppl try OCM (Oil cleansing method) This one is tricky b/c you have to use the right oils for your face. I tried Castor oil and EVOO and broke out. So I left it alone. I do use EVOO still, but not as often.

  • I know about that pot steamer since Jamaica

  • Thank you so much for this video. I just added this one to my favorites, so I can refer back it. I use sheabutter unprocessed, then I add my own vitamin e to it. I use apple cider vinegar on my hair at least once a week, then co wash with conditioner. I love the results. I will try the apple cider vinegar on my face next. I'm all about natural and chemical free products for my hair and body. Thank you again :)

  • @Teetee554 I haven't tried ACV on my hair. I'm afraid it'll strip it. Perhaps I'll spray it.

  • Thanks for sharing! All your videos should have a House Intro!!! Yassss!!!

  • looks good. will definitely try this

  • cant wait to try this. i love how u dance : )

  • your skin is amazing!

  • Great Vid Miss Moxy & YES you have fab skin & I can't wait to try it too (my skin looks HORRIBLE UGH!) I've been using Ambi & Astringent & it is NOT working as well as I thought =( but hey oh well...so ready to have my face meet steam lol =)

  • @KeetWeet Lol, I used to try Ambi for my knees....fail.

  • @motorcitymoxie LMBO...on your knees now that's a new one never heard that before but you know how (us's) do if it will work we'll try it...;)

  • Great tips! I own a facial steamer and a Huetiful steamer with the facial attachment! I can co-sign with you that steam does wonders for skin.

  • Great tut!

  • I buy my shea butter in Detroit at the festivals as well.....I am originally from Detroit and we love our house music. I will be trying your steam facial method soon. Thanks for sharing!!

  • @chatchickchat Detroit stand up!!!

  • I am an esthetician and all the tips you gave are sound advice. And most importantly like you said, it works for you. Btw. I'm a new subscriber and I must say you're a really naturally beautiful woman.

  • @PhoenixStarrfaceTV Thank you!

  • lol.. I was like - "She's gonna dance. She's gonna dance... VOILA!" lol.. Thanks for the vid. Stay glowing,

  • How often do you do your facials?

  • @Ashee1084 1x week. But lately I've been slacking.

  • do you use the baking soda only when you do this steam facial? Because I know it can be a little abrasive for the face.

  • @ideolojay I use the baking soda about 3x/week including the facial. I used to use sea salt or sugar. I feel those were more abrasive. But, I'll still use if I want a more aggressive exfoliation.
