  • @00justinblover Venomous means if they bite/sting you they release toxic venom into your skin which provokes a reaction. Poisonous means if you eat it or drink it, it will provoke a reaction.

  • I still think the sea wasp is the most venomous. It said it on animal planet.

  • First what is the difference between venomous and poisonous. I only gave thumbs down because I didn't understand a lot of the words

  • @00justinblover your a jerk look them up on google you cunt

  • What is the difference between venomous and poisonous?

  • let me get this straight! If you get stung by a sea wasp you die within 2 minutes and than suffer agonizing pain for weeks? Right!

  • @HeadBangerRA is not! but they are both a species of scorpion fish

  • You forgot the box jelly.

  • @CannibalisticxGrin another name for the box jellfish is a sea wasp.

  • 3737theBEAST I know right?!

  • noisy music

  • true true stonefish are very venomous

  • jellyfish must be dangerous :O

  • Eveyone stop saying to put box jellyfish. Sea wasps and irukandju ARE box jellyfish.

  • Id rather suck a Grown mans sweaty balls, and get bite by every single creature in the WHOLE FUCKING SEA, 10 times over, than LISTEN TO THIS SHITTY BAND, CREED

  • what's the tile of the song?

  • Steve Irwin knows just how deadly a stingray is...

  • can you do a top 10 sea monster

  • i think he cant put box jellyfish because there is no more room

  • The information re: the effects of the sea wasp and irukanfji jellyfish are slightly inaccurate. The pain from a sting of a sea wasp is immediate and extremely intense but it subsides after 20 minutes or you die. The irukandji sting however is barely felt when initially stung; it has been described as a small needle prick. Then after about 20 minutes the extreme pain of irukandji syndrome arrives and is known to last for weeks! Pretty scary huh?

  • #1 is the smallest of them all

  • Search: "Billy Connolly - Stonefish or Worst Pain Known to Man"

  • Where's the boxjellyfish

  • @dakloser the box jellyfish is in there at number 2 (sea wasp its also called). although research has showed the box jellyfish (chironex fleckeri) to be the actual deadliest animal ever on earth. the irukandji researchers put it up there at number 1 first because nothing was really known about it. but the box jellyfish venom is so potent, not many people actually survive a sting.

  • Wears da box jellyfish

  • What means it's poison/venom can kill (number) adult men.

Does it means that's that the number he can kill with all his poison or just a part of it.

  • @XaiProduction

    per milligram of venom/posion

  • Id say the marbled conshell should be number 1, just due to the fact if by chance your stung, your screwed since its nearly impossible to make anti-venom for it.

  • I have hydrophobia now.

  • its not golden dart frog its poison dart frog

  • golden dart frog is the most poisonous of all poison dart frog species

  • @leoapp1223 ok i didnt know that

  • most of these things live in australia, it may be an awesome country.in my opinion. but holy shit why arent we all dead just from going to bondi beach

  • What is the sea snake describsion

  • please see my other vidoe, top 10 venomous snakes, i've included sea snakes on that video. =)

  • if sea snakes are in the vid wat are their ranking

  • #3, behind sea wasp and irukandji.

  • is the irukanji more venmous than the wandering spider?

  • yes, check out my other video, top 10 venomous/poisonous animals. It included overall animals, so not only marine animals or not only spiders or snakes.

  • #2 looks cool

  • Would we be able to crush a stone fish with a stiff and heavy shoe?

  • of course, it's called a stonefish because it can do a great camouflage mimicking sea coral/stone, not because its body is as hard as a stone. ;p

  • if a chef cut off the puffer fish spines does it kill the fish insantly

  • no, the spine is actually not a vital organ, it's just for defense.

  • I tought box jellyfishes are at least bigger than 10cm

  • both sea wasp (#2 on this video) and Irukanji (#1 on this video) are box jellyfish. sea wasp is much bigger. Irukandji is very small.

  • u should put number 1 as the box jellyfish

  • both sea wasp jellyfish (#2) and Irukandji jellyfish (#1) are species of box jellyfish

  • if the xanthid crab is the most poisonous invertebrate, wouldn't it be ahead of all those jellyfish

  • poisonous and venomous, different terms. venom: toxin which will give effects ONLY if it's injected through your bloodstream, usually with natural tools like fangs, bites, tentacles, bites, etc (on this video, jellyfish, stonefish, lionfish are venomous, other venomous animals are snakes, spiders, scorpions). poison: toxin which will give side effect if it's eaten (like Xanthid crab and puffer fish), touched (like dart frog), drunk, smelt. all plants which have toxins are also poisonous.

  • @snakeboy2009 the other two are venomous

  • this is the most venomous thread then u should put boxjelly fish first place

because its venom is way more effective then the Irukandji , only dif is that Irukandji are more painfull but not faster in killing like the boxjelly fish.

  • for correction, both sea wasp jellyfish and irukandji jellyfish are box jellyfish species. Iruknadji is still new, so sea wasp jellyfish is usually called box jellyfish. actually box jellyfish is a general term for jellyfish family with transparent box-like body. right now, some medical researches have proved that irukandji is more venomous than sea wasp

  • Comment removed

  • Box jellyfish stings are instantly painful, causing you to go into shock immediately. Irukandji jellyfish stings are much less painfulat first, but the worst pain you could ever imagine hits you within 5-30 minutes.

  • u are really cool I love animals when I grow up i'm 10 i wanna be a zoo vet/movie director^^

  • you love animals? animal movie director will be a great job =)

  • Are you sure Irukandji venom works that fast? I heard it usually takes about 10-20 minutes to kick in, and even then it's not always deadly.

  • actually some recent medical researches have proved that Irukandji venom works that fast (I'm a medical student, so i like to follow latest medical researches related to this stuff). but of course Irukandji needs more researches. cos it's still quite new to scientist.

  • @leoapp1223 True. Maybe the faster cases are when it's put directly into the bloodstream, since the venom only comes out of the nematocyst's tip and doesn't always go in immediately.

  • @leoapp1223 one question can u do a video of the top ten veomous scorpions and top ten deadilest lizards and frogs and notes top ten deadliest lizards dont have to vemonous i just wanna know which lizard kills more humans

  • well, actually i don't know if i can make top 10 venomous scorpions, lizards or frogs, maybe someday, i must reach first ;p. but i've made other videos top 10 venomous animals (overall, include scorpions ad frog), and top 10 animals you didn't know were venomous.

  • living in sydney you got to live with this kind of thing blue botels blue ringed octopus cone shell stone fish sharks snakes spiders. oh and who ever seid your smart Im 13

  • @LonleyB0y ohh who ever said your smart. i knew this when i was 9.

    who gives a crap

  • living in sydney you got to live with this kind of thing blue botels blue ringed octopus cone shell stone fish sharks snakes spiders.

  • my dad got stung by detatched tentacles of either a man o'war or sea wasp after a storm. he said he had swelling on his fore arm roughly 10cm at the highest point

  • The more i watch those videos i don´t wanna leave Germany at all ...only thing poisonous here is my wife ^^

  • @oldirtywanka Nice one m8 :D:D:D:D

  • the more i watch those videos i don´t wanna leave europe at all ^^ ..only poisonous thing here is my wife

  • tell me whats the difference of poisonous and venomous

  • poison: toxin which will give side effects if it's eaten, drunk, inhaled, smelled, touched

venom: toxin which will give side effects if it's injected to your bloodstream (usually by stings/bites)

basically, it's ok to drink snake venom

  • @leoapp1223 so you wont die if you drink snake venom.... but if you had an ulcer or cut in your mouth open and bleeding, then you ate the venom and it got into your bloodstream through the cut you die? god nature is fucked

  • yes, that's the difference between venom and poison. it's ok to drink snake venom if you are 100% sure that there is no way for the venom to enter your bloodstream (through ulcer, cut, open wound). cos physiologically the venom will be secreted into feces (and some parts into urine). sorry bad English.

  • @leoapp1223 it's incredible it really is but in nature wherever there is a venom there is an anti venom nature has a way of sorting it out that way the Sydney funnel web is venomous to humans, but a bandicoot can be bitten by one and only take a minor injured it

  • 4:08 , 4:20 wew how can we watch out for that??

  • nice list i dont think i want to go back in the water with those stingrays lol

  • you're a genius.... anyway, i love ure vids :D, im going to recomend them to my cousin, he wants to be a bio... (my english is bad) biologist.... biologo is the name in portugal :D

  • thx for watching my vids, =) yes i like Biology but now i study to become a doctor

  • @leoapp1223 go for it, man

  • @leoapp1223 nices vid man and some of yo other vemon and posisonus i didny know some of those were poison or vemon if it wasnt for you i would know which sea aminal insect or animal had vemon and posion i bet i would be in dangeerous if i miessed with a vemonus insect you probably saved some lives

  • no problem, thx for watching my vids =) i like learning this venom stuff

  • the stone fish is actully the most poisenous

  • well, based on many medical researches, there are some sea animals which are more venomous, sea snakes and jellyfish.

  • @sircalumbo it depends on how you would look at it some people like to think of many people it could kill with one bite and other's one drop

  • i will never in my life eat purrfer fish.i still wont trust chefs with puffer fish cooking license

  • that's why i don't like to eat Sea Food :P

  • It seems smaller things pack more punch.

  • Kickass vids, all of these

  • me, being a crazy dare devil, ive always wanted to eat fugu, btw i subed

  • if the portugese man o war is small, it is rare to cause death, when i was five i was stung by a small portugese mano war and it had really strong pain but if u treat it with vinegar and rest for a few hours it will just turn into a bruise and maybe and inflamed tissue. and if u ever been to Bellos beach in Honolulu, Hawaii there is alot of portugese man o war and not once has someone died yet :) but yea . Vinegar really helps a sting by portugese man o war,

  • ever get stung by a portuguese man o war yeah not very fun

  • the lian fish is not poison or venoms if your allergic to them then you dye or they make your hand puff upp

  • lionfish has venom gland and it can produce deadly venom, one of side effects of the venom is allergic reaction ;)

  • @MrAbt9283 its true is venoms or poison cuz here in puerto rico a lion fish sting somebody and killed him/her

  • @MrAbt9283 yes they are!

  • i thought the box jelly was the most vemrioms mairne animal?

  • both sea wasp and irukanji jellyfish are actually species of box jellyfish ;)

box jelylfish are a family of jellyfish with box/cube-like body, but not all species are venomous

  • @catssocool123098 they are

  • i wrote temporary paralysis, shock and death

    not

temporary paralysis, temporary shock, and temporary death

  • @leoapp1223 anyways 1st off, i really like all you animal video's thanks alot man! but 1 thing do they have enough evidence today (present) to prove that Irukandji are more deadly then Sea Wasps? cause who ever i ask always tell me that Sea Wasps are easily considered more dangerous then Irukandji ? thanks

  • they have done some researches. it's true, sea wasp is considered more deadly. Because based on statistic, sea wasp causes the most deaths among all jellyfish, death cases caused by Irukandji are rare. Of course it needs more reseraches in the future.like cobra or black mamba, both are not close to be the most venomous snakes, but considered more deadly cos they are very aggressive and cause more deaths that other more venomous snakes , like sea snakes. deadly is not the same as most venomous.

  • the tops of an irukandji can sting you?!?!? nasty!

  • isn't only the bell of the irukandji venomous? i think i saw that on a discovery show

  • god's little wonders!

  • Stonefish is really awesome!

  • wats the difference about a venom and poison it looks like same too me.

  • venom: it will give side effects if it's injected to bloodstream

poison: it will give side effects if it's eaten, drunk, tasted, inhaled, smelled

so you will be okey drinking snake venom, but you will be in trouble if the venom enters your bloodstream through bite. toxin in plants are poison. examples of poisonosu animals are puffer fish, dart frog, etc

  • if its not a jellyfish then what is a portugese man o war?

  • the order of Portuguese man o war is Hydrozoa. jellyfish is from order Scyphozoa (true jellyfish) and Cubozoa (box jellyfish). But all of them belong to phylum Cnidaria. i'm sure you've studied in Biology ;)

  • All of your videos are fun to watch, thanks for making them. I keep pausing to go to wikipedia to read up on some of the creatures Ive never heard of before. I hope you keep making videos.

  • yes, thx for watching my vids :) hope can add your knowledge about animals, i'm also still learning ;)

  • @leoapp1223 Yeah your videos are awesome bud, keep them up, i love studying animals and deadly things, got most of the david attenboroughs

  • a wud say you got that rite a was wondering if the irukandji jellyfish was gonna make an appearence in yer vids

  • the sea wasp is actulay a box jelly (i no cuz i did a report on jellys) the irurkanji is frickin crazy!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes, both sea wasp and irukanji are kinds of box jellyfish, but different species

  • the irukandji jellyfish is the sea wasp you can look it up on the web like i did ! no efense

  • no, both sea wasp jellyfish and irukandji jellyfish are kinds of box jellyfish, but different genus and species

  • Really puffer Fish are that dangerous???? I would think the Marbled Cone Snail would be higher. You think Sea Wasp is number 2? Intresting. I would like to thank you for all the vidoes. Good choice of music to.

  • yes, puffer fish/ fugu fish poison is really dangerous for humans, fortunately the poison may be destroyed by heat and cooking, in Japan, where it's very common for consumption, they know how to cook puffer fish so it won't be dangerous. honestly it's very hard to rank venomous animals. yes, sea wasp jellyfish definitely rank on #2 cos now Irukandji jellyfish has replaced as #1 most venomous animal overall. i'm a medical student so my sources are medical books. thx for watching ;)

  • you liar!before making a video be sure its true,!

  • sorry, i'm not a liar, i'm a medical student so my sources are medical books

  • @kevlene11forever Why critisize.

  • @kevlene11forever he is not lying

  • my favorite subject is science and im learning alot from u lolz.......

  • and i'm also still learning ;p

  • The Box Jellyfish has killed over 5,000 people. I think thats more than the Saltwater crocodile.

  • i can't find the most accurate sources about the number of death caused by saltwater, but annual death number is still higher than box jellyfish (2000s). but death number because of box jellyfish increases dramatically in recent years (in mid 2000s until now based on WHO), while saltwater owned the 90s to early 2000s, so if the trend continues, next decade box jellyfish will become the deadliest marine animals

  • im glad i stepped on a scorpion fish instead of a lionfish :D

  • a scorpionfish has a venom with similar type like lionfish but less venomous

  • every single video always surprises about the number 1's :)

  • you surprised about the #1?

    thx for watching ;)

  • in 1:08 part in the puffer fish scared me

  • @leoapp1223 irukanji is now the most venomous animal and the 9th deadliest animal ?

  • irukandji jellyfish is the most venomous animal. but it rarely causes deaths because attack cases are quite rare. It's sea wasp jellyfish (2nd most venomous animal) which causes many deaths cos attack cases are more common

  • With sea-snakes Belcher's Sea-snake would make 3rd.

  • Don't take this the wrong way but how do you know these top 10's if your not a animal expert oh and by the way I love Medical stuff I read your interest profile I'm sorry if it was personal please don't get mad at me.

  • animal expert = zoologist

and i'm not a zoologist student, i'm a medical student

i just like learning animal stuff

  • It's because you may study these things then. And, like me I guess he have many books.

  • The Sea Wasp or the Double Sea Wasp is the same as the Box Jellyfish I read a book that said it or more specificly proved it OH BY THE WAY did I spell specificly wrong?

  • yes, box jellyfish is a type of box jellyfish with cube-shaped medusae and transaparant body. not all species are venomous, but some are extremely venomous like sea wasp jellyfish and irukandji jellyfish

  • another nice video leoap XD YOU rememver me ?

  • yes of course, i remember you, cos your icon is golden dart frog ;)

  • i always want to se or meet you becouse you are my best on you tube can we pro of animals make a competition i think to a global competition all the world you tube ho makes the most interesant video about animals win the people of you tube rate end decide what you think (sory for my bad english i have also 12 year end my english is bad im a tenager but i know all about animals i spend all my time to lok snakes venomus creatures end spiders they are my best but i love other animals to

  • ha ha nice idea, sadly, our countries are too faaaar away (Indonesia and Bosnia) by the way you like snakes and spiders? i'm actually afraid of snakes and spiders ;p

  • i m reali not afraid of snakes in the last month ive captured 4 nose horned vipers end 3 black vidov i have a arsenal of venom at home XD

  • I understand you're afraid of these animals. But, hey! It doesn't matter. I love snakes and want one for pet even. Many people are afraid of snakes and actually hate them. Same with spiders.

  • don't you know i'm a caterpillar-phobia. i'm still able to see a snake or spider in front of my eyes, i'm not afraid to touch snakes (I'm afraid to touch spider though). but i'm anti caterpillar, even only a picture of them, don't know why ;p

  • Oh, that's too bad. Then you don't wanna live where I live in spring! There's caterpillars everywhere. I had one I called Lulu for pet. But none of them are venomous or poisonous.

  • @ZnakeLover oh yes they are, there are some venomous caterpillars-the lonomia caterpillar

  • I live much longer away from you than STAMINAS1, but I'm not telling where I live. It's over 1000 metric miles.

  • @leoapp1223 i love them!

  • @STAMINAS1 same

  • I've heard of the Irukandji Jellyfish before is it more venomous than the Sea Wasp or Box Jellyfish?

  • both irukanji and sea wasp are species of box jellyfish. but now, irukandji is claimed to be more venomous than sea wasp, but it needs more researches

  • in 0:15 your spelling of your this turns into ths.please fix.

  • Wow.Awesome video. That's why I like staying on the beach and just watching the sea :D Hey why don't you make a top 10 longest haired animals or top 10 hairless animals or maybe top 10 most alien like animals ^^ I'm just giving ideas.I'm not making you do it.

  • Great job, as always.

Keep in mind that the Irukandji's tentacles can reach up to 35cm in length...but they are barely visible eitherway.

  • yes, some specimens may have quite long tentacles, but they are still hardly recognised

  • nice, i used to have a dogface puffer and 2 lion fish with a few trigers in my old tank. really cool pets to have.

  • Steve Irwin didn't die from stingray's poison. He died beacause he got stung right in the heart i think

  • yes, actually he died because of massive bleeding after the stingray's spine tore his heart (although the venom may also made him having breathing difficulty, so there were many compliacations which resulted on his death). i just wanted to point out Steve Irwin's death is related to stingray attack

  • i requested this didn't I?

  • yes, you requested this video

  • isnt the "sea wasp" really called box jellyfish?

  • both sea wasp jellyfish and irukandji jellyfish are species of box jellyfish

  • Oh damn ur good, kk thanks for answering my question, keep up the vids

  • Another excellent video, thanks again and keep it up :)

  • leoapp i watched all your videos and they are very interesting but i just wanted to know how do you know all these facts?

  • i did some searching on encyclopedias, books, or some websites. about venomous animals, i study medical so i quite know this stuff

  • Thanks for showing this out to me Leoapp

  • Steve Irwin.
