First he pours the water from the smallest cup into the next cup in lin, and some how (revealed in video) the cup is filled up when it shouldn't be.

Each time the mix was "upgraded" to a bigger glass the reaction of water/gelatin would make it more thick, filling the glass each time. Then he poured the large glass into the three smaller ones FILLING THEM to the top. Not half-fucking-way you idiot.
