Best 'd be weapons that aren't using ammo, like a sharp sword, axe, bludgeon, spears. And keep your firearms, in most zombie movies for no reason they all of a sudden in the next shot don't have their weapons anymore. You may never know if you'd not stumble over a pack of .223 or .45ACP or whatever you have for a firearm. When using firearms, find a elevated spot, and make every shot count, you can take your time. As long as you leave all doors closed&secured, you can snipe forever.

Any type of flame thrower is not going to be a great idea. In your scenario the zombies are around your "home". When a zombie burns it feels no pain. it will continue to try and get into your "home". This could cause your "home" to burn.

And would a AR-15 with a laser pointer work,and where can you find a AR-15,M16,M4 30 round mags? Good video,where can you get a trench knife? I would personally prefer an AK-47 to an M4. It's MUCH more reliable and a lot more powerful. And my dad would most likely carry his M1A 308 rifle.

i wouldnt say guns like the m4 or mp5, if you run out of lube they wont last you the thousands of rounds you need to take out the swarms of zombies, nice melee weapons by the way. and to destroy the leg enough that a living person under the influence of drugs or alcohol would no longer be able to use it you would need to completely destroy it, more then 1 bullet at least

think simple , rope or wire streched across a choke point at ankle / shin height , zombies dont have great motor responses , stands to reason ye ... so they aint going to be able to avoid it and pretty soon you got fair wall of tripped up zombies , by the time they get up you can get clean away !

@indiespider Silencers require a Class2 license issued by the BATF.It's a Federal offense to make & own one without a license.You can make one by Google searching how to,but,I recommend not telling anyone about it.I still wonder how Zombie blood gets into people's eyes & mouth when fighting a living person whose bleeding doesn't?
