Why are so many Europeans bent on destroying our individual countries and merging us all into one big superstate? What is with that? More power? Germany still holding a grudge after its last lost war?

In a conventional war EU would smash US to tiny bits,US is nearly bankrupted,and EU has half of its economy.
The powerful places we will have will be the whole Europe,for instance Poland will be as powerful as Germany,so many nations are emerging from poverty to richness.
Then its time for Ukraine and our russian friends to join.

@xgalba00 I too have found Europe to looks like an arthropod; but not a hornet and not just the EU;
the whole European continent to me looks kinda like a SCORPION! the Iberic Peninsula is the head, Italy and the Balkans the legs, Scandinavia is the tail; well, it's a scorpion without the claws... the UK would be... I don't know.... a mole on the scorpions back....

Spain and Portugal are the head because the neural system of the insect is actually located on where is France and German.
Sweden and Norway are the wings. You hold the insect without even hurting it if you touch the wings.
