I'm due April 9. I had an appointment on Fri and my midwife said I'm actually a couple days ahead of what I thought...so I think that makes me...16 weeks and 4 days...woohoo :)

I've read in several different places that it provides the best circulation for you and the baby. I wouldn't get too crazy over it though. It's not like you need to ALWAYS be on your left side. It's just a recommendation, but I thought I might as well get used to it. I've also read that you shouldn't spend TOO much time on your back when you get bigger because the weight of the uterus can put pressure on blood vessels. No need to stress though. That's not good either. Thanks for watching :)
