Likewise I've witnessed many newly-punks talk about how cool it would be if THIS song was a punk song. ANY song can be easily turned into a punk song.
ooohhh.... that's actually not obvious at all if you didn't hear about stoners until you were 17. Which is true in my case. I sort of agree on the punk song thing, except for really fast and complex instrumentals like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, or blues, which goes straight to rock if sped up. But otherwise yeah, prettymuch anything can be turned punk.
