  • it's just dirt... hell, the stuff just lays there. you aint gotta be a genius to work in the dirt. and how do you get paid so well if you cant even spell? its "do" the math not "due" the math

  • How is this a key ? Are you at the end wall ? This machine appears to be square onto the wall ?

  • True, it does require a certain degree of skill to maneuver the bucket like this, but you have to have a boss that's a total idiot to even think about wanting this done. Seems that some people just don't know how to do the math when it comes to setting up a mining operation.

  • @geo01367 High wall chopping is normal dragline dig method in open cut mining. It is used to establish the high wall face.

  • @NETTB1 Normal doesn't make it right or financially beneficial. How much production will you lose from your dragline in ten years or twenty years doing this?

  • @geo01367 Well whats the "right" way? How would you increase production by not cutting the key with a dragline especially in a multi pass operation?

  • @NETTB1 For sure it has to be Done but when you are responsable for keeping it going it is like a bad hangover hahaha

  • @NETTB1 You haven't told me how much production and financial lose will be incurred for even one year. Due the math, then maybe, you'll be motivated to find another method. I get paid very well to eliminate mining mismanagement, I can't offer you a solution; I'm only making you aware that there IS.

  • if you could operate a dragline you wouldn't laugh about this manouvre, the driver is good

  • hahahah what a operator....
