The whole album lacks that certain energy that we've come to expect, It's not really a step back for the Monkeys, but they arent exactly moving forward. Lyrically, they are still at the top of their game, they just dont seem to have put them to music as well as they used to.

I already have this album and it is sick! It will not have much commercial success as it takes a few listens to really get into but after "Crying Lightning" it is exactly what I was expecting.
