  • Nice!! I enjoyed them in Dortmund at the Live Station,Germany...:)

  • See the Cardiacs way back in 84 @ Reading fes, what a band made my weekend

  • seeing everybody in chorus sing along, usually being cheesy, makes me want to kill puppies because i have never seen them live

  • It's actually rather difficult to watch this without being totally overcome by the utter joy and beauty at the end. The most incredible band this world has EVER known. God bless you Tim x

  • First time I've seen this one! If it is at the Camden Falcon then it's the gig I met my wife at!

  • Brilliant, saw them in Brighton in 1990 and this vid brought back great memories.

  • I LOVE CARDICAS!!! BIG SHIP ROCKS!! :D

  • At last, video evidence confirming that the Boner is alive and well, together with his assistant, Nora von Slootgarden. Where was this filmed, a hangar in Area 51 perhaps? Who were those 'musicians' making that interminable racket in the background? Are they aliens from another planet who have not yet mastered Earthly instruments? This is obviously a cover up that has gone wrong. Ha, Mr Jones, claiming to be the Boner indeed! This video raises more questions than it answers...

  • Oh my gosh. Literally my favourite song of all time. Stop me in the street and ask me and I'll pipe up with "Big Ship"!

Great version AND - this blows my mind because I am not sure where and when this is from - me and the wife are there in full fig singing along. And my sister and brother-in-law! I am the baldy idiot with a beard next to the altogether more attractive missus.

God Bless Her! God Bless Her Indeed!

  • you look like a nice guy, and that lookks like the best gig ever, last saw them in 89 at the marquee i think

  • I'm trying to spot me.... I'm sure I'm there at the front somewhere, and I've got to have *something* to show the kids!! This is a great recording- captures all the live epic-ness of Big Ship in all it's glory and wonderment! Wish I could be in that mosh pit again right now...*sigh*...
