  • riyadh sucks

  • I miss riyadh K.S.A i Was born on saudi arabia kingdom i from Phillippines

  • @MsMariammarquez Ahahah same, maybe we know each other 0.0

  • the city and country of my birth! Left in 1991 when I was 8, many years ago now and it was the best time of my life....one day I hope to return

  • @bertyblue

    me too

  • i hate this contry open ur eyas they wnna kill us all

  • @OOsmooveOO

    why did say that?

best people i have ever met r SAUDI

  • THEY DRINK 7UP! IM GOING THERE!

  • i live in Riyadh and they are only showing you the ancient places of riyadh... we have HUGE malls with juicy couture and coach and ice skating rinks..... were also ahead of MANY countries in technology. Its alot of fun when me and my friends crash the malls and act american and all so this video doesnt give the right impression of riyadh

  • that country looks alot like the U A E except u have less freedom

  • i will work in saudi arabia one day insha'allah :)

  • its very clean and sparkly

  • It's not true that only muslims can visit mecca and medina. I'm not muslim and i went to both places only 4 years ago.

  • @leptismagna10

Well you obvisouly broke the law of the land than, I think you didnt wash your glasses when you sore that big old sign saying ghair muslimeen not allowed, obvisouly Makkah and Medina are very busy place there and since Islam is the fastest growing religion on the face of the earth there are many new Muslims who come so they probraly didnt realise, otherwise if caught you would of got into serious trouble!

  • Saudi Arabia sure is great...if you're a man.

  • i wish i go back to saudi...we had so good time there ..its my birthplace..luv u saudi so mch

  • at 2 51 is amazin lol

  • Where are all the women? They're all in the kitchen!

  • If I would go there, would I be allowed to eat bacon?

  • Ah not really.

I did not go over there for a vacation or business per se.

Being respectful? Come on... we respected their culture and did nothing to them.

One guy that I know was a Muslim and just because he was white still called him nasty names.

  • So this is where my gas money goes?

  • lol 7up at first when he eats

  • It might be highly conservative, but hey... why not go? Experience something different. Get out of your comfort zone. Every country has different rules.

I can't believe that public affection is banned though! And the segregation!? Hmm... guess it's for the best.

  • What a sewer!

  • @cbarsonfire,

    Why do you say that?

  • @05lowell05

    Very simple!

Having spend some time in the country in the 1990's I found a vast majority of the citizens do not like or respect Americans. While they may smile and act friendly, this is nothing but a fake front.

Walking the city with someone who was fluent in the language found some real nasty comments directed at us by many people. They people making the comments assumed that no one understood the language.

Look at the negative comments on this page about Americans.

  • @cbarsonfire,

In all fairness wouldn't you say a great number of Americans dislike Saudis? Americans say disrespectful things about the Saudi country, culture, and religion all the time.

Would you agree that its not Americans in general that many Saudis dislike, but rather "westernized" Americans? I'm sure if you went over there as a respectful Muslim, the Saudis would have no problem with you, just as you would have no problem with a westernized Saudi. I think it's just culture difference.

  • @cbarsonfire Check out people who work in the U.S airports, the majority of them are rude and you barely can see someone smiling. I've worked in a hospital in Riyadh and I've seen a lot of Americans who are working for Aramco and Alsalam co, and they were highly respected. Those are only citizens just like us and have no reason to hate or disrespect them, while I honestly wouldn't smile to an American if I knew he's in the army.

  • @cbarsonfire

i aint gonna lie like... dont think people in america "other than original americans" dont get nasty "comments" from americans! like... Ofcourse racism is common all over the world, like u guys say Niggers, Crackers, beaners, ETC... we say another shit! U cant judge a whole country but what u heard n saw, i cant either, but who ever does... well... consider them a lil mentally retarded! ;)

I been too Wisconsin n loved it man! so I bet u liked a couple things bout us!

    peace!

  • @cbarsonfire Many aren't very fond with Americans, but its because they see them as uptight and big-headed and in every means, trying to prove that "their culture is better" than the Saudis. As far as I heard from Saudi students. On the other hand, if you're really friendly, and a nice person yourself - they are fairly friendly, they'll respect you you, they'll invite you to their homes from a hearty dinner, and you'll leave the country with nothing but good memories.

  • And of course...we are a very tolerant society where you can find mosques, synagogues and a number of churches around the city where all can worship as they choose to...DOH!

  • Shit place. Only a retarded person will go as tourist to this sick country.

  • @gautumb ....What

  • haha this guy is awesome

  • OH boo frekdy who you didn't like the treatment you recieved in the KSA its the least we could do since your country is so nice to us I mean racial profiling in airports calls for muslims to die active wars to try and dystroy the muslim relgion. I mean you should've read a fucking bit about the country because of course if your ignorant about Saudi Arabia your most fucking certainly going to hate it American. You smell of the dog american whether your a part of them or not

  • @amirvega And PAH! You saying that Saudi Leaders don't insult Christian religious figures proves how much lies you're talking. Don't think I'm some kind of Western troll that's sitting here, talking straight out of their ass because I hate muslim countries.I disagree with the war on Iraq, and their bias when it comes to the Palestinian war. But I cannot deny the mistreatment of people, especially foreigners in KSA.

  • Comment removed

  • @amirvega alcohol is banned in KSA but when they come here, they stack up on alcohol. KSA is delusional. They're keeping the public in some sort of buble of hate towards others, especially westerners. Why is it that you blame Christian racists when your King is asking USA to bomb and finish off Iran, which also has muslim people in it?

  • @amirvega nope I lived there for a while. Full of racists. Many anti-Christians, that refer to blacks as "slaves" or "3bd/Aabd". Women can't drive / ride a bus / walk on the streets alone. Most of the "respectable" people I knew were alcohol-drinking, drug-taking, womanizing hypocrites. I'm so grateful that the whole world isn't like Saudi Arabia.

  • gurl9300 shut the fuck up I was fucking annoyed at the comments. Your comment is just one of the many on here who needs to go travel and get out instead of being fucking idiot and drinking and partying all the time

  • @meleszenawi1111 sorry love, i think you're mistaken. I don't drink, party or take drugs and yes, I've travelled many places over Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States. I'm not American, or British, and don't hate Arabs. I dislike the treatment I recieved whilst living in KSA. If you don't like it, plug your ears and fuck off.

  • @amirvega lol..like doctors. Who treat other women. Unqualified female doctors treating other sick wome = less women causing trouble. haha it's no wonder you complain.

  • Although the video is a good one, I would say that the producers should have picked more talented speaker. I think, for things like this, the speaker should have an excellent level of English and presentation skills to deliver more enthusiasm and excitement not just dumping information about Riyadh just like he did.

  • Brother Aldomyati,

    Very nice introduction.

  • Riyaaaaadh rocks

  • Wondering why he didn't mentioned chop chop square, isn't that a tourist place to go with the family?

  • Nice sights but... where are women? :/

  • nice one..great riyadh.

  • this country is my home for 8 yrs. isnt it nice....

  • That wrong. you asked two man only in our big country.

What about married twice time, that happen for old man only not 4 all. And we talked and saw our husband before married.

We love U, so be fair...........................sorry 4 my bad language =)

  • Do we have to leave our Bibles at the airport?

  • I would love to visit Riyadh but I'd like to see the Saudi government change some of it's policies towards westerners. You need a sponsor just to get into the country and you could be fined for staying longer then you're permitted, also I am nervous of unknowingly doing something forbidden and being confronted by the Mutaween.

  • @TheJackv Well yea you need a sponsor to get in...and about thw Mutaween, dont worry abbout them, just make sure any girl in your family wears the abaya not the hijab. Not to worry about them, they wont do anything to you if you tell them your from the west..just try not to go chaos lol...the only place you would expect to find them is in Malls, Men markets...and stuff other than that good luck ;)

  • @TheJackv Stay where you are. Riyadh is not a friendly place for blacks/Christians/Indians/Jews/ Just about anyone that isn't arab or muslim

  • amzing on how they got no fat people there

  • ang ganda nmn ng riyadh

  • I think its intersting..I used to have bad idea abt ksa but when I went there SURE it was diffrent but really I noticed that I had some lack of knowing about it cos eh I was well we are all BRAINWASHED by the media, sure its diffrent country but its not bad either bc in every place there r gd n bad

  • Riyadh is really beautiful! There is hot, no crime, big and beautiful roads and luxury buildings!

  • @mecidlo lol no crime that gets put in the media. Some Arab prince sexually abused and killed his gay partner here in London, and they haven't heard anything about it over there.

  • @gurl9300 But it's not like here in CZ Rep - lot of thiefs in every town!

  • saudi borat!

  • @DELFIZZO~ HAHAH!!.... its Borats Saudi-relative!

  • all that food looked so good...

  • MY CITY

  • Jesus christ all those people; and in the middle of a desert.

there is more sand between Riyadh and Mecca, than nearly the whole square mileage of the Levant.

again isn't that just a LITTLE dangerous?

  • I just google earthed Riyadh, and saw its location.

ISN'T THAT A LITTLE BIT DANGEROUS!?

  • nice video...inshallah wud love to be there!

  • Saudi Women are hot - how come I don't see a single one in the video?

  • dude they are SUPER HOT !

  • Sorry to interuppt..

Note"not all of them are hot..[i hope u understand]

P/S:could we marry with the 'hot'..?

    cheers...

  • It may be nice, but without freedom, it don't mean shit.

  • Never saw one female in the entire video. Is everyone there a homosexual?

  • I lived for 6 years in KSA - 83 to 90. I feel very nostalgic for the place ( I lived in Riyadh, in Olaya). All of the Saudis I worked with, in fact all of the Muslims i worked with, were perfect gentlemen. I know the world has changed, and KSA has changed, but I have very warm memories of that time. I would really love to go back on a holiday, but obviously cannot.

  • @mikenotts01 why? Did they fire you from your job to replace you with a Saudi man or something?

  • @mikenotts01 why not ?

  • @abo3zzzam you can't get a visa to Saudi Arabia unless you're a Muslim (to visit Makkah and al maddinah), or you wanna work there; that's why it's to hard.

  • @jejealam makkah and maddinah that you cant visit ,, other than that of curse you can ,, i have plenty of american friends here :)

  • lol this was funny..

    I dunno why

    I live in Dubai :P

  • that was the worst video i've ever seen for Riyadh, i mean lots of places could've been shown in this video but they chosed to show the worst places of all

  • What an amateur effort of a video!

  • good

but u missed a lot of wonderful places like the lands in Themama, the Kingdom Tower, stores, ...etc

anyways, I like the idea that this hotel make such videos

    thank you

  • it's really nice to discover those cultural and heritage sites back there in saudi....as a foriegner...i was born and bought up in this country the people here are racist they'll see with a different perspective in each and every case...i don't get the point either they think they are too educated are too illitrate for everything.....the bottom line is these people are socially backward and can't mingle with any race except americans.

  • I dont understand why non-muslims countries has strip clube and thier sisters work there, whey they have porn shops ? why they fk each other.

  • I don't know why everybody hates Arabs. They're not a bad bunch of people.

  • Sure, why would they not be?

It´s the dictatorships of the region that causes the problems, and makes people view them as being somewhat hostile.

Think of Ahmadinejad, I really don´t believe he represents the view of the population, however because of him people think of Iranians as a bunch of medieval jerks.

  • nice movie

    i love riyadh

  • I never lived in the zionist entity and I converted to Islam. And you buy our oil because you have too for geopolitical and strategic reasons

  • welcome evry body in KSA we love you

    brazilia+Amirca+ITALY+spain+england

    =evry body

    (( saudi aribia boy ))......

  • @ZOOZ37 I like to see people like you man :), without racism, and open your heart to the people of all world :), Thank you :) i wanna be there KSA :)

  • @ZOOZ37 i Love Saudi Arabians boys... Habibis!!

  • kmxta s tatay ku jan....

  • i love ksa ^^

  • check the Persian carpets.... lovely.......

  • Kamustah....sa lahat ng mga Pilipino dyan! Specially sa accounting office kina dany at boy .... miss ko na kayo! arni here

  • Thats right

  • I am jewish and I lov eit there Israel sucks trust em I went once an never went back and have been living in saudi arabia for about nine years and will soon get my new citizenship soon and am going to convert I do work for the GIP but an currently only consulting soon I will be working for them I love it here and to all you americans and israelis who hate this country fuck you and your country I was american and it sucked every passport booth they second look you and I didn't even like it there

  • your gonna convert to Islam?

  • convert to islam then

  • Sorry to say your but statement does not make any sense...Usually you are not permitted to live in Saudi Arabia before converting to Islam, in fact you can be punished by death for practicing any other religion than islam. Second of all it is quite hard to obtain permission to enter Saudi Arabia if you have ever lived in Israel.

Finally I do not think that most Americans hate this country, where else would they buy their oil?? Good luck living there, and for God sakes do not break the law.

  • Listen here,

a lot of people live in Saudi and there are many people who are Christians. So get your facts straight, before you straight out lie about a place you have never been to. And so what if you break the law? we break the law here all the time, we get something called "a fine"

when you cross a red light you get a FUCKING FINE!

so again, go learn something before shouting out your nationalistic comments.

  • I´m not talking about a minor crime such as the one you mention.

According to Amnesty International you are not permitted to practice any other religion than Wahabi Islam, and doing so can cause death penalty, but I guess I should take your word over Amnesty??

And the fact of the matter is that you can be sentenced to death for drug dealing just to name one.

Every human rights organisation is condeming this country, but I guess you know better.

I never been there and NEVER WILL!!!

  • Woe to you if you think drug dealing is a breach of human rights

  • Aaah you can do better than that!

You are just twisting my words now, you damn well know I don´t find drug dealing a breach of human rights. WHY WOULD I!!???

I was just mentioning SOME of the crimes which are known to cause death penalty in the country, which includes drug dealing.

Far be it from me to say something harsh about the country that whips a rapped woman for being in a car with another man than her husband, now that´s justice!

  • People getting KILLED coz of there Religion...BULLSHIT

There r aloot of ppl living here FOR YEARS who r not Muslims... and they get a lot of respect.

2nd of all not everyone who makes a crime, such as drug dealing or anything serious, gets a death sentence! They first r taught the harm in wat they do, then taught how to live a respectable life by getting a proper job, and AFTER ALL THAT if they go back to their previous sins and harming society then the punishment falls upon them!!!

    GET IT NOW

  • Oh so they don´t kill of everyone, just some, well I´m sorry now I see that you are absolutely right..Again I have to say I feel sorry for the Saudi government, or dictatorship, call it what you want, that all the human rights organisations are lookíng in their direction, when they are 110% innocent in the accusations, they are just helping society.

And we all know that society benefits from whipping a raped woman! INDEED WE DO.

  • I´m sorry I don´t think you and I will ever see eye to eye on this subject, so let´s just cut the trashtalking, I admit I may have started it, and I can understand how you could feel provoked by the stuff I wrote. We can continue to badmouth each other, for days on end if you want, but it will be a waste of time, for us both I suspect.

  • al hamdulilah!

  • @meleszenawi1111 For an american, you can't type English properly....

  • I agree with you... I am not muslim and I am brazilian. We should all live in peace, we are still human beings! I wish someday i'll travel arround the world meeting new cultures, respecting and helping each other... and of course i'll go to ryiadh, i have two nice friends there ^^

  • you know what? Bush was Christian and I don't blame all the Americans for his wars and killings all over the world he is responsible for his acts.

  • where are womens in this video??

  • you mean women?

we don't offer our women to others they are our treasure.

  • are tourists allowed within the kingdom, now? Or just investors? I lived there as a child and would love to see the country again.

  • no food isnt hard on stomache

  • Is that kind food hard on a stomach? I have ulcerative colitis.

  • fuck these ppl who r saying bad stuff about this place and pastuso1bc fuck u and stop being racist

  • you Loser try to behave like a polite person if you are not.

  • I want to go to the Middle East someday and Riyadh seems like a very good city to stay. I don't know why some people judge the muslims like that, it's ridiculous. I am christian and i have nothing against the muslim people. It's already time to people respect each other... Anyway, the middle east still waits me for a visit \o/

  • evryone is so skeptical because of 9/11.

  • I know, but still... It makes no sense to blame a whole country or a whole culture/religion u.u

  • i agree with you, what i mean tho is the west watched videos after 9/11 of saudis celebrating the attack. So i think the feeling from the west is should we go to that country...... I mean i certainly dont think saudis are bad people, but the facts are what they are.

  • you are most welcome.

  • Thank you all for the explanation... I still don't agree with people who have this prejudice against the middle east... you are so nice people! anyway, i hope to see you when i get there... cheers from brazil \o/ shokran

  • @pedrojunger

Thank you for NOT being a judgmental fuck!

But, if you plan to go to the middle east, Riyadh, Istanbul, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Damascus(Damashq) and Kuwait City(Al-Kuwayt) are the best places to go!

I went to Riyadh once, and all i can say is: go there now before your life is over!

  • @pedrojunger just becareful not to demonstrate you are a cristian using crosses..you'll be harassed by the police. Also it's their KORAN that preaches killing of all infidels not the bibble. Please inform yourself, Saudi Arabia is a place where gays are hanged and women treated like cattle. You spit on your own culture because you do n ot know better, what we achieved with human rights and equality of all people,Things that do not even EXIST in Saudi and most Islmaic countries. WAKE-UP!

  • @BetuliaLiberata How can u say that !!!! . Did u even visit Saudi Arabia ?

  • @atheerish No NEED, I could NEVER! I am gay and Catholic. Excuse me if people know about the most rigid and least respectful Kingdom in the world. In odds with human rights, freedom of thought, freedom of religion and equality of sexes! Are you gonna say I am lying? Excuse me..women do not even drive there, you people have your sexuality controles by the cleric, even roses were banned there on Valentines day...I know stuff....so you better move on!

  • @atheerish We know things here from Al-Jazeeras's own mouth. Just a month ago a dude from the another Arab country was sentenced to death for 'sorcery'. How about your wonderful security guards-muttawa isn't it? Come on...do you really think people do not know these things? and when you deny it, you are in other ways saying and empowering human persecution and humiliation. Can people from other faiths go to Mecca? Can people wear crucifix? Is there churches there? Go do your prayers...you lie!

  • @MarroiamaxuEvery society has its specificity but in general Riyadh city where security is strong and the crime rate is low. Of course there are disadvantages as well as society's transition from an old way of life to a modern lifestyle. This will not be without cons but the pros more. Finally, I respect people even if they were four legs because they have feelings and emotions should not > not injure

  • @pedrojunger i know it looks crazy but i lived in saudi arabia and im a muslim. number 1 - it is burning hot at the morning and even hotter at night. belive me i know what im saying.

  • @parekaoumtk I agree its etremely hot during day, but it gets colder at night.

  • @parekaoumtk YES IT IS HOT IN SUMMER BUT DID YOU TRY MAN TO VISIT IT DURING WINTER. BELIEVE

    ME IT REACHES 0

  • @pedrojunger well they do have a very different sense of freedom there, due to the bond of government, the state, and religion, the "church"

  • @pedrojunger try to live with them and you'll get the answer..

  • ur pathetic lol so pathetic infact

  • i dont understand why some ppl view this vid int he first place...if ur just here to talk crap abt islam, pleeez leave!!!

  • Hey guys guys cut it out !!! They guy is trying to show his city man why the hell u guys talking about religion why man why !!!

  • pastuso1bc ur mothers get fucked thousand times and then people llike u born...watch ur words...u r soon destined for hell and Insha Allah u will see that with ur eyes b4 u die..

  • i looled at the beging of the video cuz its all food true saudi is like the best place if ur hungry imao !!!! lots of restruants and malls !!!!

  • Comment removed

  • lot of people getting sycophant in west and you are one like them.

  • Saudis are syncophants. There are no churces, synagogues, or any other religious symbolism allowed in their country.

    Allah is a pig.

  • whatever you kafirs say, Prophet Muhammad will remain most respected person in this world.

for pedophile accusation, just do research what is age of marriage for girls 1400 years before.

  • Why 1400 years before?

We are talking about today. Are you saying that it's OK now because it was OK then? Is the Koran just a history book?

By talking about 1400 years ago, you are saying that the koran is not universal & eternal.

With your own words you have (unintentionally) said that the koran is just a meaningless history book of 7th century Arabia.

More to the point, it is a history book of a common criminal from 7th century arabia.

That common criminal was ur prophet.

  • just treat yourself with a good psychiatrist,

never in Quran written about marriage age,

at that time marriage age was lower and it was not a odd thing at that time, so you have to say all people were bad at that time irrespective of region.

finding error is person is very easy, someone can also say that Jesus was illegitimate child, or why he didn't married may be he was gay or worst impotent

  • Effectively it is in the koran.

verse 4-80 tells you to obey ur prophet.

Your prophet was a pedophile, which means the koran says pedophilia is OK.

    Allah is a bastard.

  • we don't care about dogs like you born out of prostitutes, whatever you say. just go and ask your mother who was your father, may be you are bastard, like other christian pagan,

  • so what your bible say obey or disobey your Jesus,

if you obey Jesus then should not marry or sleep with women, do not live in good house, do not work, don't wear fine clothes, do not eat good food, don't don't don't..............

if cant talk to a mentally ill pagan christian, so just fuck you off from here, if you don't like Muslim

  • you have no clue about the prophet, what is your proof to say that, because he was married to a nine year old, she was very mature..

  • Don't forget that ur prophet not only fucked children. Ur prophet fucked women, men, watermelons, goats & sheep.

Ur prophet dressed up in his wife's clothes and kept a gay man (Zahir) in his house. Ur prophet even fucked a dead woman.

  • u still didnt proove anything... but wait you proved one little thing, that u are one big fat liar.. LIES LIES LIES and your stupid..

  • if a girl has come inton her puberty(menses), mean she can become pregnant, she is not technically a child anymore, she is able to give birth if a man fathers a baby, in western countries you consider 18 + to be adults.. and if a girl can give birth to another generation how is she a child?

  • fuck you

  • Hey, I want an Honest response, From a Muslim of Course. Is it a good idea to get settled in Riyadh, Jeddah etc, well SA in general, even if the person is not a saudi. How is the living standard, employment, social environment and educational opportunity over there. And is there any website or book that I can get to get a idea about these issues. Let Me know, any brothers or sisters.Plz. Take Care.SALAM :)

  • Hi ettats,

I'm not a Muslim, but did live in Riyadh from '94 to '00. It's a little different for ANY foreigner, Muslim or not, but being a Muslim makes it better. I found Saudis, overall, to be very friendly and easy to deal with personally and businesswise. Anyway, there's not much of a social life except with people you know or will meet while there. If you are a guy, it's easier I heard from people that had lived in both Riyadh and Jeddah that "Jeddah is bettah." I never did visit the city.

  • Thank you for your response! And did you live there because of your job and what is your natonality?Because I know a few Indians who work and used to work in the medical field.

  • your thinking about either jeddah or riyadh

most ppl say jeddah is better because jeddah is more of a fun place places to go . and beaches, and the best restruans cafe's malls..ect but riyadh is pretty cool 2 i guess though ive been to both of them but i prefer jeddah

  • still kharah

  • camels cost from 1000$ up to 500,000$

  • it skyrockets up to millions

haven't u heard of the ms. camel shit?
