OK first off, Afghan war started after US got attacked by Al Aqeda who is still plotting to kill Americans. As Commander in Chief, the President has a constitutional responsibility to augment the war to keep the homeland safe until the threat is eliminated. Second, the US cannot go without an auto industry you moron. Had we let our auto industry collapse, how the hell can build military equipments ie tanks planes on a massive scale if WWIII happened?

Yes we have a deficit problem. The primary cause for the FEDERAL deficit is mediaid and medicare, which causes the Federal govt. to borrow money which increases our NATIONAL debt. Healthcare makes up 2.5 trillion dollars of our economy and increasing. Once we get that problem solved. We can pay down the deficit. IF we do nothing, 2.5 trillion will grow until it consumes our 14trillion dollar economy. China is a development country so it needs to buy debt in order to finance their economy.

Yes, and what is medicare? "government run"! the main point is both sides of government republicans & democrats need to get out of the way. Just like the government has everyone fooled that the econmy is coming back. Where? the jobs lost is still growing and the dollar is getting weaker and once the dollar go's China will not buy no more, you can't spend your way out of it.

I'm a registered Republican who'd like very much to secure another 4 years for President Obama for what he's already accomplished. If the pricks in Congress and government employees lost their health care an even better bill would be passed by tomorrow evening. It thrills me when a damn Bushie loses his job, savings and home.
