The thing wrong about this game is the fact that the King Tiger's turret traverse in reality was surprisingly fast considering its huge size. It was one of the first tanks to use Hydraulic turret traverse engines, which allowed it to traverse 360 degress in less than 10 seconds

Why using king tiger on close combat, German tanks are made for medium or long range combat, but close combat it will not useful because the it's acceleration is slow, and turret rotation are also slow. Anyway I love blowing any type of allied tanks with Jagdtiger in one shot
Tiger 2 had 690hp,pershing 500hp.They both had same principle of TORSION BAR for suspension so don't say tiger 2 had bad suspension.Operation range was 170km for Tiger 2 and 160km for pershing.Yes persnig have 90mm gun and Tiger 2 have 88mm gun but that wasn't quite helpfull.Only reason americans "won" the war along side with soviets who scored much more kills and took bigger teritory from germans than allies and were first to come in berlin was they had luck and more much more shermans.
@jodza909 The Tiger II had way too much weight, so having a torsion bar suspension isn't going to help the fact that the engine keeps breaking down, the turret takes forever to traverse, and the damn thing can't cross bridges without stressing it to the limit, slowing down everything in the process. I perfer to consider it a "mobile bunker" rather than an actual tank, since it keeps breaking down and could barely move. In a war, where mobility counts for a lot, the Tiger II was unsuitable.

I hate this game because a pak43kwk88mm gun can't take out a fucking sherman in 1 hit and the MGs dont do any damage but make the tank look cool in battle.
@Voss2120 Check out the Blitzkrieg mod for CoH. Think you'll enjoy it, not entirely realistic, but has a great balance of realism and gameplay, Tigers rip up Shermans, and MG42's tear through enemy infantry like they're paper.

@Voss2120 Yeah, they're cheaper than the Axis armor, but not by any leaps and bounds. The Shermans sum up against the Axis medium PZ IVs pretty well if you use them right. There's also a whole slew of ammunition and various models of the Sherman available (Including the "Jumbo"). The German factions are still really powerful but well balanced. There's a few videos of the mod on YouTube, just search for Blitzkrieg mod... Videos of the newer 4.X version are a little harder to find, though.
@Voss2120 It's made like that for gameplay and balance purposes, play Men of War if you want realism, faggot. And don't do any damage? The MG ontop of Sherman rips apart throught infantry, King Tiger's MG can even supress (AFAIK Bren carrier's MMG can supress too), they do large damage anyways.
Thats why you download "Blitzkrieg Mod" with over 100 new units and special abilities + realistic weapon damage. Example: king tiger blows up sherman in 1 hit, Infantry are owned by mgs far quicker and so on

The first Tiger suffered more than it should have. If a vehicle has horribly slow turret traverse times, wouldn't it make sense to position the tank further away where it doesn't have to repeatedly swivel its turret and thus lessen firepower and accuracy? Well, pick up any book written by a historian about WW2 and you'd learn the FACT that 80% of all German casaulties in the war was on the Eastern Front. Hitler himself knew the war would be won or lost there and planned to attack the USSR from the very beginning, to make "lebensraum" for his German "master race". As far as the nazis were concerned this was one of the main objectives of the war.

The Germans and the Axis did do some things better, But the Allies did better in the areas that counted, and that's why the won in a total and complete victory.

Had it not been for numbers and the fighting on two fronts, I believe that Germany most likely would have won the war, or at least held onto Europe a lot longer. When it came to military casaulties the Soviets suffered around 40% more than the axis TOTAL (that includes Italians, Romanians, Hungarians, Croatians and the foreign volunteers in the Wehrmacht).
Considering the minimal resources natural resources they had, and limited industrial capability, I'd say Imperial Japan did extremely well. Far better than Germany would have if starting the war with the same limited resources. Bear in mind they had far less local collaborators than the Germans enjoyed, and even though they used the Chinese as slave workers it pales to the scale the Nazis did with the occupied countries and the millions of jews.

@Voss2120 Yeah, they're cheaper than the Axis armor, but not by any leaps and bounds. The Shermans sum up against the Axis medium PZ IVs pretty well if you use them right. There's also a whole slew of ammunition and various models of the Sherman available (Including the "Jumbo"). The German factions are still really powerful but well balanced. There's a few videos of the mod on YouTube, just search for Blitzkrieg mod... Videos of the newer 4.X version are a little harder to find, though.

The first Tiger suffered more than it should have. If a vehicle has horribly slow turret traverse times, wouldn't it make sense to position the tank further away where it doesn't have to repeatedly swivel its turret and thus lessen firepower and accuracy? Well, pick up any book written by a historian about WW2 and you'd learn the FACT that 80% of all German casaulties in the war was on the Eastern Front. Hitler himself knew the war would be won or lost there and planned to attack the USSR from the very beginning, to make "lebensraum" for his German "master race". As far as the nazis were concerned this was one of the main objectives of the war.

The Germans and the Axis did do some things better, But the Allies did better in the areas that counted, and that's why the won in a total and complete victory.

@Nebukadnezarthe2nd Too right. I am British but I do a lot of research into both sides. The Wermacht was far superior to all modern armies at the time. Had it not been for numbers and the fighting on two fronts, I believe that Germany most likely would have won the war, or at least held onto Europe a lot longer. Britain would of fallen in the early years, except Hitler diverted a lot of the Luftwaffe's air power to the Eastern Front.

The fact is, if you EVER bothered to read a BOOK about WW2, is that when it comes to military casaulties the Soviet Union inflicted 80% of all German casaulties.This is also where the war was lost for Nazi Germany, no matter what Hollywood has led people to believe
When it came to military casaulties the Soviets suffered around 40% more than the axis TOTAL (that includes Italians, Romanians, Hungarians, Croatians and the foreign volunteers in the Wehrmacht).

Considering the minimal resources natural resources they had, and limited industrial capability, I'd say Imperial Japan did extremely well. Far better than Germany would have if starting the war with the same limited resources. Bear in mind they had far less local collaborators than the Germans enjoyed, and even though they used the Chinese as slave workers it pales to the scale the Nazis did with the occupied countries and the millions of jews.

My Tiger Ace was fighting an A.I Sherman, I destroyed the Sherman but it went of control, it missed collision with my Tiger, let off one last shot and destroyed my Tiger... I was pissed.
