These dealers have not been abused... The taxpayer has been abused! These dealers have known Chrysler (a private company not required to open its books to the public...or dealers) has not been stable for a long long time! The Senate nor the taxpayers owe them anything Senator Hutchinson!
While this is painful, by what authority does the Senate have to interfere and mettle in the juridical process of bankruptcy?
Couldn't agree more! It's GM's own fault, they would probably be making a lot more money had they not scrapped the electric cars they manufactured in the 50's. GM has made horrible business decisions, in the public's worst interest, so I'm happy to see them go.
