Wow! that was not only entertaining but inspirational. Just as someone else wrote you do make it look easy. I was just wondering how did you get so good at keeping time? Are you maybe a drummer?(I know that's seems like a stupid question but there are many that use beat machines but never played on a real drum set.) I would love to better understand the process: maybe a brief tutorial? Any way great video and mix well done!!

@cheapspace you're not the first person to ask. I've spent my whole life tapping on stuff, so the MPC's ideal for me, but I've never played the drums in my life. you'd like to see a brief tutorial? like how I lay out the pads?

@Fundamentmusic Not so much assigning samples to the pads but more "finger technique" I Have a Sonar 8.5 so i really don't have a need for a full fledged mpc system. Loading samples and arrangement is pretty easy with it ,but my point is it may sound to "robotic"as playing live sounds more human. So instead i bought Akai's LPD 8 which is can give me a starting point. I will say that these pads really do feel good under my fingers.

if you don't have a mixer (which I don't) you can record direct to your computer's line in. it records in mono, though, so that's the one downside.

make a video show how u do that i dont have a mixxer wich program are u using to record on i dont have any soft ware i got a friend that doeas all that 4 me im goning to engineering school soon jus another brok producer lol spent a 1000 on this mpc now the pads are goin out my mode btton is broke my cursor up somtimes dont wana act right i think im gonna sell my 1000 and get a 2500
