With all due respect to how relevant Aretha is present day, when I watch clips like these, its almost as if Im watching the 9th Wonder of the World, or a comet that only comes once in a century. NO ONE had ever seen/heard anyone like her when she first came on the scene. Im not an Elvis fan per say...but I realize his impact on pop music culture. Well-read critics know, when you mention how important he's been to music, you cant say his name without saying Aretha Franklin. You just cant do it..

This is "LADYSOUL" in her prime.She is a natural woman giving her craft the respect it deserves. I've listened to the "Queen" for 4 1/2 decades. She is the greatest in the soul genre that I've experienced. This performance is timeless!

This is performance at it's finest!!! Aretha is classy and sounds like the angelic powerhouse that she is. Carolyn and the girls (The Sweet Inspirations)are GROOVIN'!!!!!!!! I'm assuming this is the tour that she recorded 'Aretha in Paris' in 1968.

She also has a taped concert at the Montreax jazz festival in the 70s, if you have it please post that too. I'm dieing for it
