Actually, "Waterloo" did not win over "Eres tú." If I recall correctly, ABBA didn't participate in Eurovision alongside Mocedades in 1973 (they represented Sweden the following year). The winner of the 1973 contest was Luxembourg, represented by Anne-Marie David, with "Tu te reconnaîtras."

There were only 3 surviving members. It's sad, but so life goes. It would have been nice to have the surviving member sing, but who knows if a health problem may have existed and taken the better quality of the voice--especially in the lead singer. It was obvious they were very honored to be there. Great song. I remember when it rose to popularity in the U.S.A in the '70s.

Notice the actual members wearing black and you'll also see that she was crying in the video and wipes her eyes at the end of the performance.
