crissyfrog, what other books? in Islam, there is only one holy book, the Holy Quran. It has not changed, not even a single character, since the days of revelation, 14 centuries ago, and its guaranteed, by your Creator Himself, to stay so till the end of time.
yes but you have more books than just the Quran, why don't you tell the truth and the other books you have do change!nonce case prophet caravan robber.
Part III, okay, simple pretext of astrology, which existed long before the Quran - heavenly bodies, sun and moon included, follow paths and orbits. I guess I would refer back to my comment on Part II for why they may have been important 1400 years ago. Oh, and noting qodot's statement, it seems odd that they Quran would be so in harmony with scientific facts and yet state the sun goes to a resting place. Seems that the sun has done little resting in the past few billion years.
None of the celestial bodies collide? That's factually wrong. "The sun runs to it's resting place" evidence of knowledge of an orbit ? In the middle of a section describing the passage from day to night. Let me assume it's just referring to sunset.
