If the people don't have clean drinking water, why doesn't the government have pipe borne water for them? Drinking water can be obtained from desalination plants, springs, rivers, wells, rain water collected in concrete cisterns. It's a shame in this day and age, Caribbean people are living in such squalor, & now with this earthquake, it is worse. Hopefully experts will go in and help the Haitians & show them how to grow food to sustain themselves, & utilize the manpower there to rebuild Haiti.
