@EpicRichter I have never understood why some people say that. They both have ear length hair and a bandana. Thats all I see that is the same. Sure, Richter has a Shoryuken type uppercut in SOTN, but you know what I find weird? so does Jonathan in POR, and he has blonde shoulder length hair, he wears red, and his uppercut even creates flames on his fist.. yet nobody says he is like Ken, yet a bandana and short hair is enough to make Richter like Ryu lol

@Brandon5l9 Well, the pictures with long air and coat are from Symphony of the Night's Richter, it's just an older version of Richter. And the ones from the psp port of Dracula X, well it's just a remade look for Richter, to refresh the character.

@Brandon5l9 Yeah, the in-game sprite is just like the old Richter, but if you look the icon image when he speaks, you can see he has long hair... Guess Konami was too lazy to redrawn a new Richter sprite... But in the Dreamcast version you can unlock "New" Richter when you finish the game.

Ayami Kojima, the illustrator that handled the redesign of the older Richter feminized the characters of the Castlevania series. She is a very talented illustrator though and managed to retain so very masculine features that still made them look like men.

Take fan artists with little talent (such as the 3:20 picture) and you can see how them just trying to copy her style makes them appear to feminine.

It's an ok arrangement, but I feel that the guitar melody was too loud and it drowned out the background. Notice in the Rondo/Dracula X versions, the melody and backgrounds blend together better. I'd say either increase the volume in the background or turn down the melody.

Of all the belmonts, Richter is the weakest simply becauase he was overtaken by evil influence (SOTN) the belmonts draw power from holy and richter failed on that one. And, as far as I know, he is the only belmont who succumbed to the dark power.
