  • i lived in ny in banksville/bedford right near here lol moved early 2000 tho

  • Greenwich is not the same town it used to be. Most of my family still lives there and each time I visit it is so sad....not a very friendly or welcoming town anymore. I remember Woolworth's, Dress Box, DaVinci's on the avenue....can't stand going down that road now...very pretentious...not what the true Greenwich was about.

  • Greenwich is awesome but know its only for the rich it only designer close and banks and stuff mostly everyone is spoiled but it is a fun plays and everyone is nice

  • who cares if its a city or a town!

  • it's a Town not a city, anything below 100k pop is a Town

  • RIP movie store next to the church

  • doesn't Vince McMahon live in Greenwich?

  • I work there and have never been so mistreated in my entire life... at least I can escape home to westchester at the end of the day. Not to say that it's all bad, I'm sure that there are plenty of lovely people there - maybe they'll come and shop where I work some day and I can meet them.

  • I lived there in 83-84. It's changed a lot. Haven't been back, but would love to and see the changes by myself. I really loved living there!!!!

  • @cdfbaaaa not the same...

  • the cars the houses exactly show the success of the hedge fund managers from this city :p

  • I live here and I love the town itself...but the people here are just plan rude and they don't mind their own business...although you do find some very nice people but the stuck up ones here tend to be the majority.

  • @stina10593 I live in Greenwich and I am a nice person but people are not very friendly. Its sad.

  • @SisterElizabethPrays Yea it is a bit sad. But there are some nice people but a lot of them are snobby and stuck up. But I guess you will find that every where. There are just more in Greenwich.

  • I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GREENWICH!

the old movie theatre shown in this video is now a huge mac store! the ave is the place to be!

  • Back in the 1960's Greenwich was a great place to live. Woolworths, The Sport Shop, Greenwich Playhouse, Pickwick Lanes. Just a rich person's joke now. I haven't been back since '83.

  • My fisher strolled down that ave many times. word!

  • too many transplants here now- they ruined our town!!! remember the bowling alley? gandola pizza? haggen daz? taco place? oh those were the fun days... for us true locals!!

  • I've lived here all my life and i dont know what your talking about

  • then maybe you aren't that old then... because those places did exist, and were institutions of Greenwich, before all the out of town-ers moved in, and took over....

  • hell yeah i agree!

  • it's a town.

    and it sucks for kids.

  • ha ha i'm a kid and i could have spent all day there wen my family went! the three hours seemed like ten minutes! probably because i absolutely LOVE exotic cars! tat is definetly the place for exotics

  • no, it sucks for kids that live there

  • @Omanthedudehead

how? youre very fortunate.. youll realize that at about 18.. hopefully

  • @Omanthedudehead not true Greenwich is awesome their is the ave best clubs ever there r grate communities but all the stores r designer maybe everyone i spoiled here maybe everyone here has nice things but it a awesome place but iv lived here my hole life i feel my house is small i thought everyone had nice cars like lambergennys and stuff and nice thing but people her r spoiled cant say im not but greenwitch is awesome ps my house is 4 ackers and 5 floors but i think it small to everything else

  • it does suck for kids

  • the ave has changed a lot. there are no more stores that i can afford to buy anything from. its not fun anymore.

  • this city is amazing...it's beautiful

  • not a city but a town.

  • tecnicly it is a city but its still called a town

  • @DragonBoy897 it is a city, the population and busness district qualify it to be a city but it is just called a town
