@willowswilla - it's a known hazard - cats seek warmth, babies heads are warm. You wanna let your cat snuggle up to your sleeping baby? Knock yourself out. I can recommend a top quality bereavement counsellor.

Cats are so adorable with babies, and they're so gentle...although sometimes they can get abit scratchy! I grew up with a kitten too. Theyre just the perfect pet. :)
I have 3 kids and they LOVE my cats, even when they annoy them. I introduced them early to my furbabies and every morning when I get to wake up the kids for school, the kitties love to help. =) I find my kids are far more responsive and less annoyed when they wake up to a kitty kat and not Mom.
You probably shouldn't let your cat bug your baby like this. It's fine you just let it happen this once to film it, but really, you should make sure your baby gets to sleep in peace without getting cat hair in her mouth and nose.

My cat always wakes me up as well....but the problem is, she doesnt snuggle with me, she crawls underneath the sheets and bites (really hard) my feet and legs, im full of scratch marks down there...
