Abusive relationship are alway's when 1 person has the uper hand, Like in one of your comments that she gave up her job this is where he got the upper hand, How to help your friend? get her in a more independent state (like a Job). In the end its your friends choice if she chooses to be with a guy that beats her its her problem.
A woman can only be abused when she lets a man abuse her, she's as much a victem as the cause.
The first thing an abuser will do is begin to separate the abused from everyone they know and who cares about them. They see the abused as their property, and others become a threat to their ownership. I will not say that only she can free herself, as having an escape route will be the only safe and protected way for her to find the courage to leave. You are a good friend to be there for her, but you must realize that to place yourself between her and him can be a danger to you and your family.
I love beating my women and she's been with with me for 5 years now if she does something i don't like i just punch her in her eye that keeps the broad in line.
There's a friend who has a friend (a girl) who has been beat down and abused on every possible level by her "boyfriend" (he's really a monster) for over three years. He makes everything seem like it's her fault and he can do whatever he wants and she has to take it.
She has some issues with alcohol and codependency which allows him to get away with all of his abusive behaviors toward her. He has insecurity and control issues of his own as well as narcissistic tendencies and, of course, anger/aggression problems.
It's really sad how this coward gets away with all his horrific behavior but at least the truth and a portion of the story has been put out for everyone to see, read and hear (just type in a youtube search for "Abusive Zach").
Addictions to people can be just as deadly as addictions to drugs and/or alcohol. It's even worse when the person has more than one addiction that they're fighting at the same time.
Perhaps you women should grow a pair and actually start asking men out. You know, claim the 'equality' that you pretend to want...
None of you have the guts to risk being rejected, so you rather pathetically sit around, waiting for a man to ask you out... and more often than not, it's the abusive type who asks you, and you, being desperate, say yes. And you KNOW they are abusive the first time you meet them.
No man buys your lies that "He was so charming" and you didn't know. WE know.
Do what my grandmother did, shes a 33 year old Northern Roman Catholic at the time, He hit her once, she said do it again and you'll lose you hand. The next day he hit her again, So she shot his hand of with a shotgun. Lesson learned.
when I was very little, I saw a man beating his gf in their car of a parking lot at the mall. she turned her head and looked right at me, and the boyfriend saw me too he stopped then left. from that point on i developed this responsibility to protect all woman in my life. take a stand against abusive relationships!!!!!
Point being, violence sucks, but it is ingrained in our culture; You can't beat your child or your wife (not that I want to), but you can drop a nuclear bomb if the situation warrants it, or you can shoot a black man to death because you thought he was going for a gun?
So the question is "Is violence only wrong conditionally?"
No, that's untrue. Men can be abused as well, and the police take it seriously. I only say this because of a family friend whose girlfriend lost her mind and was hitting him and going crazy on him and he was a good guy so he just took it. He called the police on her, they separated, and she did time. He even got money from her because of it in court.
wtf. wat kind of logic is that. if you are a REAL friend, you would stop her. even if she doesnt agree. geeze. all i hear in this video is i hope i hope.get your lazy butt up and go stop her.
Very late post but if you haven't already done so, you should definitely check up on your friend to see if she's even alive!!! I HATE abusive men. I was married to one and then dated another after my divorce. I got out of that relationship quick though before it got too bad.
You got out "before" it got "too" bad? That kind of logic is why women get hit in the first place. I have never hit a woman. Ok I slapped plenty of asses but I never ever listen to them that is the secret to not wanting to hit them.

been in one- been out of it for many years- have had many friends who were in some, they are out too..love should not hurt...we were made to LIVE, not live like death. These relationships steal life of of it's vitims. The abuser doesnt change- my ex still the same.DONE with it :)
my friend was killed by a crazy wife he got laugh at by the cops she got of scott free! my ex pulled a knife on me but the cop that showed up was a Girl and she ask my x to drop it she called the cop a bitch and the cop whipped her ass SWEET JUSTICE! for the first time in 12 years
hola im 12 years old my profile say im 22 lol..buy ur friend need to get the fuck out geez she needs to get arround 5 grand and go live with hur mamma ......... every 1 knows mammas kick ass so.... she should kick his ass or kick him in the nutts >.<
:( You did the right thing but sadly she is in the same difficult situation that many battered wives are in. They feel that they cannot stay and that they cannot leave. Any man that has to hit a woman to feel strong isn't much of a man at all, IMO. Does she have any male relatives that could help her out? Maybe go smack the husband in the face a few times to make him wake up?
you flip and indonesian are almost the same... my mom is indonesian and almost everyone thought she was flip lol soooooo.... yea u cant really tell the difference cause sometimes i think flip are indonesian but then i realized there not indonesian but flip ahhh confusing eh? lol
I hate saying that others shuld change their lives, because it is their life. But i really REALLY think that she shuld get a lawer, get away from that man and make things clear to him that its over.
I think she shuld divorce him just because of the porn already, how can he do that? How can anyone buy porn if they have a girlfriend or a beautifull wife?
And no man suld hit a woman ever.
I think you and her friends have to watch over her and somehow make it clear to her
This is a classic abuse situation. I can't tell you how many times I've seen it, and no, she won't leave until he comes close to killing her. The isolation from friends and family is part of it too. All you can do is wait. It's frustrating I know.
Geez, I hope she's still alive. The guy isn't going to stop---this sounds too much like a pattern of abuse. It was good of you to let her stay over, by the way.
"I hope she is still alive" I think ur exagerating a little I think he probably hits her once in a while and treats her like shit i dont think he is going to kill her for no reason. Try to keep it into context
Ok talking from experience..she's not going to leave him until something extremely bad happens. nobody will listen to anyone until they realize it themselves throught experience. Unfortunately you learning from falling, cuz then you have that scar that reminds you of it, but right now she hasn't learned... and its not a good thing for her to be kept away from others..she's going to need someone there.. so i also hope she's ok.
yeap.. you're right.. that's what I heard to, usualy they won't realized until they got into a hospital... but yeah... now she got limited friends... and her friends pretty much only her husband's cousins.
That is terrible. It's amazing how you think you know someone, but you really don't even know half about them. This type of thing happened to me, but I wasn't with the person. It was my step mother. She was good at verbal abuse and she would start yelling everyday. She threw things at my father and tried to hit, but never once did he lay a hand on her, he just stopped her. I had a friend who had an abusive relationship too. This topic is big to me, good job addressing it.
I did try to contact her... but no response at all, I emailed her and seems like her hubby also check her email account.. and I tried to call her but she never pick up.
Thats terrible. Theres no excuse for hitting a girl!! That guy is a loser, makes his wife do work and live off her??? Thats not even a hard decision whether or not to leave this guy.

Sometimes women hit men.
If the guy calls the cops,
they'll likely laugh about it.
Violence begets violence.
And the cycle continues.
So it goes.
