It clearly states in Section 8 of Paulson's 3 page bailout plan "proposed" to Congress, "Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non reviewable and committed to the agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or administrative agency." Isn't that an admission of criminal intent? Everyone should know that it would only cost $100 billion to pay off every mortgage in default right now. Not make them current - pay them off! This is a gov't. takeover.

Agreed about Section 8. If he did not want to hash out all the details, and wanted Congress to come up with the oversight plan, why did he insert a clause that explicitly prevents LEGAL AND OTHER OVERSIGHT?
