@TylerSamuelWilkinson Well the song itself is about his first love (I think it's his first) that he met while holidaying. He and the girl are only together in the Summer because their families both go there on holidays. I think that the sand is just a constant reminder of her, and how he can't seem to forget about her like he's always reminded of her. But that's just what i think and it probably doesn't even make sense, but there you go.
