The weather isn't always bad, it usually is near the end of the year round Autumn/Winter time and that's when it gets colder, but you should of seen March and April 2011, it was so hot, we had forest fires and everything!
paris might have a beautiful city but the people are just plain assholes lol i mean like really, they look at you like your a piece of shit and your below them. go into a resturant in paris and ask for ketchup...I DARE YOU lol
I've been watching your videos and I absolutely love them! I'm actually applying for the Gilman Scholarship for the Spring of 2011, hopefully going to St. Petersburg, Russia! However, I did almost go to UCL -- it seems like an incredible university!
I've been planning on doing a blog.. let me know if you have any advice or comments!
heya, I just subscribed today after seeing your response to the youtube costume party! your videos are awesome! you're a great vlog maker and the photos you take are beautiful. it looks like you're enjoying yourself a lot over there, good luck with your studies! and i'll be sure to keep watching your vids =]
Came through this via facebook. It's Clifford. Consider going to the Loire Valley to see the Chateau's if you get a chance to go back to France. Definitely worth it!
Hey! What's up! Dude, the train station in paris was called Nord and I was like "what the for shizz!" Alas, I don't think that I will have the luxury of going back to Paris as much as I would like to. It's a pretty amazing city. well, maybe I'll get to go back some day...
JOY!!!!!!!!!! you have a youtube account, say what? heck! This is really exciting! But seriously, I never intended to be an amateur journalist, but now that you have inspired me, I can only hope to one day be as eloquent as you.
So how about seeing how going to an English soccer game is different from a sports event here in America? or if the British take sports as seriously as we do.
ah! I didn't think that I would not need to actually go to a soccer game now! They have like those big-screen TVs in all the pubs and the only thing they play are soccer games. Well, those and music videos. Yeah I'll see what I can do about going to that game...
Sacre Coeur! The day we went, everyone was just chillin on the big hill, and there were some guys busking on the steps... ahhhh... don't you find that there is a completely different attitude towards public space/arts/culture?
Cool idea with the postcards. Have you checked out the ones that they sell around there? Bad graphic design, and lots and lots and lots of cats... not sure why that is...?
Yeah! the last scene of the folks dancing was on the steps of Sacre Coeur--they're so festive that the energy from happiness could probably be used light up the darned city. And also the city is so saturated with art and culture, that you barely have any public space, though there is so much of it to take up. wow did I just not make any sense? you know what I mean.
And the postcards! well, cheap postcards in general are crud, but at least my postcards will be a little more personal!
wow its beautiful! my aunt is in italy i think i'll be going in 2010! i know its not paris but its kind of relevant..right? lol. where was that red room you were in? its absolutely gorgeous! (i'm an art major=art nerd)
Yeah, American art history is like zip to the zero compared to European art history--then again, I haven't taken art history since 9th grade and I reaaaallllyyy want to take one so badly that my pants might catch on fire.
You would love it here! the art literally knocked me out. History textbooks really don't do it justice. when you're standing in front a hall lined with 56-foot long canvasses, you can't help but feel overwhelmed.
It's pretty cool to see a vid with loads of stuff in that I've been to. Seriously I spent the entire paris part going 'Been there, been there, ooh I was staying right next to that when I went with...and THERE when I was there again, been there....etc.' I'm glad you enjoyed paris! and that you think the people here are nice, what seeing as I am a person here :P
Paris was the shizz! yeah and it was so packed with tourists that I would about to just run into all of them in purpose instead of trying not to drown in touristy air.
And dude natt, we've been corresponding for so long and I still don't know where you are in the UK! for all I know, you could be right across the street watching that big TV screen right now. the possibility proximity is boundless! well, until you actually tell me.
Haha!! Ye, I'm currently in Swansea, Wales. Originally from the midlands.
I couldn't be a londoner, I'm too laid back (my mum always tells me if I were any more laid back I'd be horizontal) they are all too fast moving them ones that live in London!
wales! laid back! horizontal! hahaha! you'd fit in LA! I hear that the people there are super lax, but I don't know. Maybe New York has corrupted my lax-ness! Then again, why am I trying to lure you to the state when Wales is obviously so much cooler.
Cooler? only if you are talking temperature!! Wales is really not cooler, although LA is still kinda novel to me, so I guess I am bound to think it's cooler there than here.
dude, but only my shoulders are really tense. I need like leg muscles and stomach muscles--actual muscle mass! I need to bench press real weight! gah! one day...
i love the weather in england! is that wired?

Our weather is strange. We get snow but it's never heavy snow. We get rain but it's never monsoon. We get heatwaves but they are never like Africa.
