Man, Heavy Metal was weird as hell, glad you included it in the list. It's also probably one of the nerdiest and most misleading movies (There isn't really that much true "heavy metal music" in the film).

I will say that I agree with you on Heavy Traffic, I understood the actual plot of the movie, so I don't think that 's what makes it weird. I think its mostly the character design, how the movie switches from live action to drawn backgrounds so quickly, and how gritty it is. When I saw it the first time, I loved it and was a little creeped out at the same time.

That being said I wouldn't reccomend it to viewers under 16.

lol another weird anime show is Tenchi Muyo OAV - it has spaceship cabbits (cat-rabbits) and is based around 6 alien girls liking one normal/reluctant guy who just wants to be left alone

Heavy Traffic and Heavy Metal are two of my favorite movies, especially Heavy Metal being my top favorite science fiction movie. Now as for Heavy Traffic, I'm gonna have to go against your opinion on it. The movie does have a storyline, as it involves Michael getting along with an african-american woman who used to be a bartender, and his father (who is part of the mob) doesn't approve. Besides that, it's just a movie about life in 1970 New York City.

I guess what I'm also saying is that some movies you might want to see more than once in order to get a full understanding of the story and spot what you missed on the first viewing, and Heavy Traffic is definitely one of those. I can't say much else, but Heavy Traffic is one of those movies that I should defend as a movie buff.

First of all, you're not the only one who's attracted to hot cartoon girls. I have a thing for video game girls. Ever play Soul Calibur? The girls in those games are GORGEOUS!!! Look them up on Deviant Art to see what I mean!

Anyway, this is a good list. If this was based off of sequences, I would have put Pink Elephants on Parade from Dumbo on there. Did you think that sequence was wierd?
