Ok, the biggest problem with your movies is that they don't tell a story. You can kinda see a story on the border of this one, but it isn't there enough. It just ends up being a collection of really cool battle shot. Don't get me wrong, all the editing is great and the camera work is amazing, but a good video will combine those and make a story. Try a voiceover or something so that we know whats goind on.

I'm not an expert of the era, but from what I know of the military you only reply when spoken to, or when asking permission to speak. The orders would probably be given down to a Sergeant of some sort by the Commanding Officer of the regiment, and then the Sergeant spreads it. in the start there is a movie that shows you a path around the american army. Use this, but bewear that there is two units of light infantry hidden in the forests. Take you two groups of cavaly(hussars) and 2-3 infantry groups(the line infantry), use the cavalry to kill the ones hiding and use the infantry flanking the enemy. The enemy will respond and move their army to counter the flanking, and then you must be quick to set the rest of you infantry over (where their cannons are).

INSTANT FAIL, nobody won the war of 1812, the war was settled as a stalemate and the treaty of ghent was signed. You talk as if "the British got their asses wipped", when this is not true at all. They didn't start fighting in hong kong, new zealand and australia like in America. Now America fought with the entiraty of the nation, professionals and militia men making ambushes. With a full colony at war they could never win a war of this size from 2000 mile away. Nowadays we fly to America in 8 hours but then they had to sail for 3 months to get there if it wasn't more. Two army's were send in 2 months, the firist would be defeated before the second came a shore. And btw I'm Dutch.

Exactly, all of the possible odds where up against the British, and yet we still managed to win battles like this and keep Canada for 300 years more. We lost the American Revolution, not because our fighting skills, not because of "America's Brilliance" even though some Americans will make you think that, but because of everything you said, plus the fact that we did'nt have enough troops stationed there to fend off American rebels plus French, Dutch, Spanish etc.

After the revolution we learnt a lot of lessons
1. Not all colonies are loyal
2. You need military power within nations in order to control them fully.
We could of well won the revolution if we had full troop presence, because 80% of USA's military were un professional Minutemen. It would of been a walk over for Britian.
