my 98' just hit 210k and i still drive it hard. it likes it. hks header, no cat, cherry bomb as a res. lol and magnaflow muffler. k&n intake and jdm injectors, mas, jdm throttle body and 10:1 comp...you cant kill these motors.
@yz100f I'm up to 144k miles on mine, original alternator. Changed the water pump, belts, hoses, thermostat, plugs, wires, cap, rotor in January (all were original). It was pretty badly neglected before I got it.

cranks slow
but when its been running and you restart it it barely cranks at all lol
my mom used to have a 98 as well a few years back and it was the same
