I love Aaron Ward, but that wasn't a sucker punch. The B's have been getting calls from the refs all series long and finally had a game going their way. Ward tried to pick a fight with Cullen (who is a former team mate who he knew had previous back/neck problems) and Walker took exception to it. Ward was facing Walker when Walker was getting ready to swing and wasn't blind sided by it or anything.

Lucic has had dirty hits all series. I'd love to see him and Walker go in Game 6.

Ward wasn't trying to fight anybody. In fact, Cullen threw the first real punch (Ward was just pushing him with forearm shivers, which is legal). This video covers only 1 1/2 second of what happened. It was a punk bitch move by Walker, who didn't even give Ward enough time to blink, let alone get his equipment off. Walker didn't want any from Lucic after.

You're right the video only covers 1.5 seconds of what happened. If you look at the angle VS had tonight during the Pens/Caps game then you'd see that Ward tried to engage Cullen from behind, the same Matt Cullen that Ward knows has had major concussion/back problems the last 2 years. Walker jumps in to help a team mate and actually hit Ward first with his gloved left hand. Ward then turned and stared at Walker, Ward didn't do anything and Walker hit him. Helping teammate=fine by me.

Apparently Ward did not get it after Walker hit him with his left hand first of all, but Walker still finished him off.
