  • chiii?

  • word

  • it wont be long until the robot tries to destroy the world

  • My lecture started five minutes ago. And I'm still in my room, with my empty bowl of cereal in front of me, watching this. Wtf am I doing

  • Robots only need 1 eye.

  • yet, we still have cancer lurking about. but dont worry! we have a robot that learns like a baby!

  • Can it make a poopy yet?

  • this is really cool.

  • do you whip its ass when it talks back to you?

  • I love robot! :)

  • You might as well beat she shit out of the robot when knocks over one of the pieces.

  • Oh imagine only having to show your kid/baby something THREE times, and they'll know it permanently! :O

  • Imagine pedo scientist. They teach it how to.... you know what.

  • I guess that robot gets smacked around alot...

  • Here we go... The beginning of skynet

  • one day, robots will take over the earth...just wait

  • 0:09-0:13

    "...ah fuck."

  • theres no such thing as a robot "learning" robots do what we program them to do.

  • @jesusramos1900 watch the video

  • @jesusramos1900 we can tell them to adapt to there inviroment and solve for most logical anser. a robot that thinks for itself is posible but its just to much programing time to creat it that no one has tried yet and the size of the computer would need to be about the size of disneys render farm to "think" in a resnoble time frame

  • @blanbproductionshd thats the thing, we tell it what it can and cant do. To have a robot think for its self is giving it is own functional working brain. Do your research on this, I have. We havent even gotten close to a robot having a functioning brain. People take "AI" out of context like it can think for it self and stuff. It is just called advanced computerization and programming. Saying we can but havent tried is saying it is to hard thus impossible.

  • @jesusramos1900 But they're making biological robots now, so they do start to 'learn' in some shape or form

  • @gofish8195 we are giving it software that can mimic a childs learning process. Think about it for a second..........that means it cant learn, it is just programmed to act that way. Human learning and robot mimic learning are way different. Robots will never have a mind of there own. about robots with biological brains....that is a whole different story...it is so low in tech that creating an ants brain is harder then figuring out how our universe came to exist, a question no one will ever know.

  • @jesusramos1900 yeeah its not learning unless its biological, but i read somewhere they used rats brain cells to do something and 'learn', or something... lol

  • @jesusramos1900 the software was written by a human but software can be designed to write itself based on inputs, which is exactly how humans learn. if you touch something hot you make a note of it and then compare it to things in the future. humans come pre built with a bit of knowledge which is instinct, the rest they learn on the go, the same can be done with robots, its actually the hardware that is behind not the software.

  • @RustyNex there no argument, like with every argument on the internet, i was right from the beginning. So once again a machine does what we program it to do, no machine can learn an adapt, if anything we programmed it to look like it is learning and adapting.

  • @jesusramos1900 with that way of thinking you could also claim that human beings are programmed to learn, from the fact that other human beings create them and raise them. by writing a program does not mean you are influencing how the robot learns, just creating and instant in which it can. also more importantly, the way human beings learn is not fully understood or mapped, and electronics can be built to generate things beyond the original design with no intentions, look up chaos computing,

  • @RustyNex once again we created the robot here on the video to act like its learning...unlike the natural human brain that actually develops its in ideas and agenda....this can and will never be able to....unless we program to act like its doing so. Its all advanced computing and robotics.

  • hes the same as the child that learns like a robot

  • sweet! sexslave robots are one step closer to stroke mofos off juuuuuust right

  • ur giving robots knowlage... ur basicly trying to kill mankind cus that robo kid is gonna go rough

  • @danju911

    researches on artificial intelligence........

  • 1 step closer to irobot.

  • @danju911

It's a good way to test applicable intelligence and dexterity as well as response time. For example you could say you have a computer that knows about everything you have downloaded however it doesn't make use of it aside from a few software programs. This chess shows a robot is able to apply its knowledge into action on its own, as well as in this case shows off its ability to learn and dexterity to move a piece.

  • So I guess I, as a senior in high school, not with perfect grades, should just throw myself in the trash to make room for these children robots sort of speak.

  • @euch27 Yes.

  • @euch27 Judging by your grammar skills and your description of yourself. Yes.

However, throwing yourself in the trash will only add to the problems of our modern society. Maybe you should attempt to do something useful with your life. Take advantage of whatever education you are getting and do something useful. Otherwise, you are useless and therefore a burden. Working at McDonald's will not cure cancer. Now get to it.

  • @BigTymerPimp Thanks for advice!

  • @BigTymerPimp yeah but at least its still work. better then living in ur moms basement and leaching off her paycheck because here in canada they have welfare....

  • @illadin12 Those are personal benefits. We are talking about benefiting society as a whole. Being on welfare and not planning on getting off of it is a huge burden on society. As I said, working at McDonald's will not cure cancer.

  • @BigTymerPimp or will it? Anythings possible...

  • LbD always is nice :-)

  • terminator!

  • Oooo It Peed again on the Bed :D

  • Chii! :3 Is Possible!

  • Arby n Chief? o_o

  • "Here we see the robot learning much in the same way that a child would"."

*bump topple roll roll clatter* "WAHHHAHAHHHHHH I hate this game!" *throw!*

"Alright, that's it. Go to your room if you can't play nice with your toys!"

"I hate this and I hate YOUUUUUU!!" *stomp stomp stomp SLAM!"

  • @NightRunner417 You probably need to use an EMP slap XD

  • @NightRunner417 Lol! That made my day :D

  • Glorified macros at work :)

  • @DanteMcSparda

it's in the rules of robotic to make sure that robot cannot harm humans , contrart to popular believes in robot apocalypses , robots cannot override their programations and freely choose to attack humans

  • @mononcleroger Say what? It's in Isaac Asimov's *fiction* books that robots have programming to not hurt humans. I assure you, the real world is not so clear cut. I'm pretty sure that military robots have no such programming, nor do the industrial bots. In fact... I'm going to guess that the robots that DO have such programming are programmed for it poorly at best.

  • @NightRunner417 you do realise that the laws of robotics DO exist , they aren't exactly the same as the one of Isaac Asimov's book but they do exist . There are no robot killer existing unless you think about automated sentries and stuff like that but they aren't given any AI so they cannot evolve .

  • JAPANNES NEW MILITARY WEAPON

  • oh no. its gonna happen, just like in the movie artificial intelligence

  • @hardy309

Well, that would suck to have to show it how to 3-5 times before it gets it right. Lol.

  • @hardy309 Better run if it learns how to program itself!

  • @hardy309 Instead of criticizing you would better make learn to make something!

  • @hardy309 On others.........

  • .....but they will never replace a hot woman :)

  • @111sorips or can it?

    /watch?v=p1qOQJ9AE84

  • I would teach it to roll my blunts.

  • No Robot Is ever Coming to the standard of a human in this century or maybe never. Trust me. Terminator is fictuous. What would the robot get from ruling the word?? It's life only which has emotions.

  • @123NoDisk456 Maybe so, but you don't have to have keen intelligence to be absolutely destructive. Look at fire or viruses. One simple mis-step in programming, and a robotic creature could simply act on severely badly written programming that tells it to do things that lead to the destruction of an entire biosphere. Since it is programmed, it will never think better of what it is doing. Think of a cloud of self-replicating nanobots mindlessly destroying all plant life, for instance.

  • FUCKUNG GAYYYY!! japan has better technology than this you'll be seeing chobits :P

  • The world is gonna be invaded by robots one day...

  • WANT TO PLAY A GAME?

  • FUCK YOU SKYNET!!!!!

  • i want to buy 1 and teach it to poo

  • @sabbathcrazy Just search ''Japanese Robot'' so many robots that are realistic

  • imagine a world ruled by robots wich destroy's the humanity and fichting with eachother.

  • wow

  • CreedChrist , have you seen terminator?

  • awww, the second robot is so cute, :D

  • @CreedChrist G see terminator the movie.so cute my ass!That is a monster!

  • @Tyrik73 you obviously have seen too many science fiction movies

  • If the world had kids like this, it would be totally different

  • I hope it dont learn swear words as quick as normal human child :D

  • lol can anyone else imagine in a microsoft sam voice

    "check mate, mother fucker"

  • @darkwolve16 No... but I can imagine it saying "soysoysoi soysoysoi" in a microsoft sam voice :]

  • @darkwolve16 HA!

  • @darkwolve16 Before you watch the video.

    1 Let it load

    2 Pause it

    3 Go fullscreen

4 Press left and up arrow keys at the same time

5 Try again but resume the video

6 Thumbs up if you enjoyed your game of snake

  • @darkwolve16 WEH?

  • @darkwolve16 HAHAHAHA you just made my fucking day

  • @darkwolve16 R.I.P. Sam..

  • @darkwolve16 lol thats great

  • watch them take over the world...

  • I don't see very much controversy here. Maybe with the moths and rat brains but this is just an epic chess-pwning(pardon grammar) robot!

  • wtf if they become better than us

  • @mateosivi They might help us to improve ourselves...

  • @aei05h1 they might help tom eradicate reggaeton

  • Ahhh they're gonna take over the world

  • Great...now just put a memoy card into our brains so that more people could have better education.

  • nature already knows that making a being already programmed to know everything is inefficient. It is logical that we do likewise. What we are doing with computer is actually against the intelligent design.

  • Dude that's pretty sweet programming.

  • Robot's will kill us all one day, just wait.. One day...

  • lol @ everyone freaking out

  • i'm not comfortable with the world "learn"

  • Here's the lyrics to the intro "well. yeah"

  • Teach it to give hand jobs! nouuuuuu!

  • @TheRetroZombie ouch

  • @fireamusmus I can just see that thing give people hand jobs right now. The hands were made for it.

  • kewl...

  • And just like a child, if the robot acts up beat it!

  • @jardidge with a good bag of oranges. teaches them a lesson and doesn't leave a bruise.

  • go to school `child`

  • i think when AI has a consciousness its gonna be amazing to see how fast it learns how it perception of reality and when it start creating its gonna be amazing and it scary at the same time just hope its not like us and filled with desire and most important evil...wow it blows my mind

  • Well, ... what a child really does is: observe another creatures movements (human or animal), maps each body part and movement to his/her body, creates a goal trajectory based on what the creature moved in the environment, plays back the movements with her own body, compares the result to the goal trajectory, modifies her own movement plan an repeats.

  • im a physics student at auckland university but im thinking of changing to robotic engineering... not sure tho

  • @revmcrhim

do what you love and the money will follow...

  • ROBOCOP!!!

  • After teaching them Chess we should teach them how to play Battleships and Risk.

  • it looks like it would knock the pieces over

  • Swiss FTW!!

  • i would train it to kill. then take it to work to meet my boss

  • @ilikemunting

GREAT IDEA... dare i SUPPORT YOU?

  • the japps will make a robot that learns to kill humans seriuosly..wtf

  • OH EM GEE Anime fans will love this lol A REAL LIFE CHOBITS~ Harem yeah?

  • Ok I didn't get that wheres Michio Kaku to explain this?

  • i dont get, why creating another "life" when we dont cant handel our own?

    makes no sence at all

  • @123Nikodemus

Dude, that was the stupidest comment ever. Who wouldn't want robotic life?

  • @Germanboy567

    just lazy asses like you

  • @123Nikodemus

Go fuck yourself. You know, it's dick heads like you that put a road block to great discoveries and inventions.

  • @Germanboy567

ja mein fehler, wir sind alle glücklich deshalb (seit anbegin) oder?

    fick dich einfaach schatzi

mehr "love gun" von kiss und evt. bekommst du noch die kurve

  • why dose this make me feel like we are all screwed when it learns how to KILL!!!!!!!!!!

  • ima send one of things to my school goodbye crap land hello world of warcraft

  • if i could make 1, id make it the size of the incredible hulk and attach an m134 supersized gatling gun xD

  • Skynet was revolutionary...we paid the price.

There are too many people here who are just trolling...if only we could teach the robot to flip people off...

  • Nooooo! It's got a weapon! Run! D:

  • As soon as it's shown how to kill, Sarah Connor will have no chance

  • just.. don't give a robot a minigun.. i think that was the biggest mistake.. xD

  • this reminds me so much of chobits

  • Monkey see, monkey do. Amazing what logic technology can replicate.

  • Monkey See, Monkey Kill...

  • its gonna watch a kid murder and the world will end!

  • @reid300 not unless you put a knife in its hand and make it stab the kid...

  • thier gonna replace so many people in jobs the future but it is cool tht we have advanced this far

  • checkmate!!

  • 1 word....Cheese Bits

  • \:^|

  • cool

  • When they teach robots how to be assholes, I'm in big trouble.

  • nahh ull still be the number 1

  • Skynet. They are starting their revolution...

  • xD true

  • Uhh, this is how assembly line robots are 'taught'

  • i have seen all the robot and cyborg vids they have and now im afriad terminator might happen

  • 1 word... Zombies..

  • i word.... Matrix.

  • @joshc007 i word... word :O

  • @iskatebaker98 ZombieNinjaPirateRobots

  • @iskatebaker98 then after that Judgment day And the apocalypse and ARMAGEDDON!

  • @iskatebaker98 3 world "oh my god"

  • @iskatebaker98 ???????????????????

  • Amazing.

  • cool

  • i am going to make a robot any ideas what i can do?

  • beam is the most simple of robots and you can build it from scavenged parts or buy them over the net.

  • DO THE BARREL ROLL!

  • Well, there ary identifiers in its muscles, so it can save the path that the guy moved the robot. Hopefully even somebody understands it ;)

  • Mavericks!

  • in like 100 years robots are going to take over the world like in the matrix

  • The robot then needs to learn the proper positioning of the machine gun, over and over again until he gets it right!

  • oh...that software isn't that new....if i had the founds i could make it....anyone interested in AI programing send a message to me, i will teach you the basics ^^....it's recommended to know the basics of C programing language.^^.

  • COOL

  • This is a very minor component of how children learn. If you're really interested in AI learning like children, look at Novamente and the OpenCog project. The initial architecture is almost completed and the project is suitable to teach the AI all the way until adult intelligence.

  • What happens if someone beats the robot child?

  • they wait until there older and tell the police.. lol

  • oooo skynet's turning self-aware

  • haha

  • Yuck, since technology advances faster than evolution, i'd rather we "technologize" us before robots. I don't want robots learning faster than I do... >:O

  • The human brain is still incredibly more powerful than any machine we have today. Many experts in the field of AI firmly believe that when machines are capable of reaching human-like intelligence, biological enhancements will blur the line between man and machine, or even enable exponential organic evolution. By developing these machines, we are ensuring our own future of exponential evolution. The robots will take over, but they'll be extensions of us rather than a terminator.

  • Then in your case i would be very worried.

  • @MengoMango so you're saying you want to become something like a cyborg?

Because that's pretty much what you're saying.
